I just got this Sink Play Set for my granddaughter, and I had to review it right away because I love it. It's made of sturdy plastic with no sharp edges, so I don't have to worry about anyone getting hurt. The running water feature is really neat. That's why I bought it. The faucet turns on with a button, and it keeps the water cycling through, so you don't waste a bunch of it like with other water toys.
The set comes with a bunch of little extras like dishes, utensils, and pretend food. My granddaughter loves “cooking” her meals, while my grandson is all about washing up the dishes after. The drainage system is a plus--it keeps everything from getting messy.
One thing I appreciate is how it teaches them to clean up and put stuff away. The storage rack is handy for keeping the small pieces organized. I also like that it's portable—we're using it as an outdoor Mud Table.
Only downside is the faucet needs batteries, and you have to be careful not to let water get in the compartment. But as long as you follow the instructions, it works great. For the price, it's a nice alternative to bigger play kitchen sets, and it keeps the kids entertained and learning. Definitely worth having if you've got little ones who like to play pretend.
