Excellent quality, heat control, a best available
I am astonished how a grill can be so bad, yet cost so much. Everything about the crossover is garbage. I don't even know where to begin. First, the flames go out of a bird flys by, constantly having to relight the burner. The temp control is nonexistent. The front panel gets so hot the freaking knobs start to deform and melt and they fall off. I'm sure that's safe. The thermometer on the grill and the pizza oven don't work, literally a waste of material. Then you come to use it. The grill catches fire and burns everything literally everything. Forget about grilling ribeyes or chicken thighs. The pizza oven doesn't get hot enough to melt the cheese on top, yet it burns the crust. Yeah that's how it should work. What in the world were the engineers at magma thinking? Probably the same people that designed Ocean Gate. Stay far away from this pile of garbage. It was a complete waste of money for me and I regret I purchased the system.
No instructions provided by manufacturer. Oven thermometer reads 250 but my digital probe read 375. The pizza stone read 550 by my infrared thermometer. Pizza dough immediately began to burn in the center where the gas burner is under the stone. Rotated around with my peel but had to remove before the cheese barely began to melt. Fail. Called manufacturer and was told that the customer service team just had an internal class on it the day before. Said everyone at Magma is still learning about it. Advised me to cook at 200 degrees. I've cooked lots of pizzas and have never heard of cooking one that low. Tried it anyway. Still a fail. Got a full refund. I like the company. Their other products are great. This product needs more R&D
