Bike arrived well packed - all items were protected; easy to assemble; tires were already aired up!
Purchased as a birthday gift for my granddaughter turning 12. My husband had to assemble it and had no issues. She loves the bike and is learning how to use the hand brakes and adjust the gears. Great gift!
So far so good. The ride is smooth, the seat is firm (a little too firm) I'll be getting a gel cover for it, but I'm really enjoying my bike.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this bike for my teen daughter. She wanted a cute bike that was as equally cute as functional. She loves this bike. We live in hills making this bike a perfect choice. I would recommend this bike due to the quality and price point.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bike was relatively easy to put together. It was almost completely put together when it came so there were just a few things to screw together and adjustments that needed to be made. Make sure you follow instructions and put the pedals on correctly. It rides smoothly and it has great braking. The gears transition smoothly. The hardware is built so you can add upgrades to the bike easily. The only real problem is that the chain isnt completely guarded so if I wear pants that are loose at the ankle while riding, my pants get caught in the chain. Make sure and wear leggings or shorts while riding to avoid this problem. Otherwise, it's a great bike! Pros: easy to put together, smooth ride, potential to upgrade. Cons: chain not completely covered
If you are looking for a cheap bike, you get the quality you pay for. This bike I at first thought was okay, but like most bikes, you’ll need to replace the seat as it is very uncomfortable. I also had problems with getting the chain and such in a mess. It got stuck in the wheel crevice and took a but to get out. Once it was on the gear shifting wheels though, and I finally had it all together, it turns out the left gear shifter did not work. I am not the best at bike mechanics and new to it, as im sure most could/would be. So would of been nice if it was better put together in first place. Aside from these bit of faults, the bike is definitely a ‘mountain bike’. It is ‘long’ as you will have to reach quite a bit over for the handles even if raised up. Maybe it is meant more for tall people? And the tires are not the best. They seemed more for cruising than mountain trails. Overall: you get what you pay for. I did end up returning for something more fitting for me.
Its good- could be better tho. Wheel is kinda weird so brakes are hard to adjust…
DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY! I was in a pinch for a new bike after having my stolen a mont before the 5 boro bike tour. I chose this one because it seemed to fit my needs. I had to take it to my local bike shop because the rear derailleur was crushed, breaks were not set properly, and gears were jammed. I am VERY disappointed with this purchase.
Price drops like pins. Be careful what price you buy this for.
