Magpul Men's Ascent Sunglasses Black Frame Gray Lens

I wear these glasses every day on the fireline and they hold up to all the abuse i've put them through so far. they fit good on my head and don't slip off when i'm walking through brush and getting branches whipped in my face. they also leave minimal room for sawdust to slip up beneath them and goober up my eyeballs. lens aren't red when you look through them they are a nice shade and they keep the glare out.

Perfect clarity, even in low light. Wear them everywhere, not just for outdoor shooting.

I've tried all the expensive brands, Maui Jim,Ray Ban, Vuarnet, Serengeti and others. These are the best. Comfortable, indestructible , and they just work. In Texas, they are a necessity.

I was at the range today testing a new compensator when the blowback from said compensator sent carbon fragments at my face. My lenses saved my eyes as said fragments damaged my glasses by leaving a number of chips in them. Without said lensss I would have had to make a trip to the ER.

Im no expert however seem of high quality plastic frame, strong lenses and the hinges feel very robust.

I would love to have kept these as they fit good from the front, but the lack of curvature or flexibility on the arms makes these or any other of similar size too tight on the sides around the temple/above ear for those with large or wide heads, leading to uncomfortable pressure points the moment you put them on. Other than that, these are a great pair for the style/quality/durability/lens clarity for the money!

I purchased these glasses and really like them but they don't come with a hard case like my other Magpul glasses. I really like having a hard case to protect them in my backpack.
