This cage was handy for introducing my 9 young chickens to the outdoors and to the adult chickens before total release into the big pen. The open bottom makes it easy to slide carefully to a fresh, new spot with chicks inside. Not predator-proof - anything smart enough to dig under or lift it up can get in, and a dog could probably knock it around and break in. Convenient that I can fold it up and store it for another year.

I'm very pleased with this small cage; it is perfect for the hens with baby chicks for the first few weeks. The wire mesh is sturdy and small enough to keep even the smallest chicks contained. Also very convenient since it is already assembled; just pull it out of the box, extend, and it is ready to use, and light enough for one small old lady to carry (me) I liked this cage so much, that I ordered two more.

Great design but very light cheep wood came damaged

Arrived broken. The hinges ripped out of the wood it is screwed into but the screws were still in the box. Despite the wood being split I was able to fix it myself and rig it to stay. It'll be fine for a while until the chicks get big enough to go in the coop with the adult chooks.

Is very lightweight,cheaply pit together.is not sturdy,collapses

All the raw metal wire edges are exposed. Your photo shows the covered. There are also some broken wires. The most important part? The doors are on the side panel to the right, instead of in the front as pictured. This completely ruins the fact that I bought them to save space! Because I can't even put them in the corner and up against each other where they were supposed to be. I have to separate them by at least a foot so I can open the doors enough for my rabbits to be able to fit through them. Thoroughly disappointed.

It came with wood being chipped where a screw had gone in. Its very flimsy and doesnt hold together very well. The one thing it does well is pack up and travel lol. I needed something more permanent. Just a low quality piece. I will be returning.
