This harness is escape proof. I owned several harnesses before this one and they were so easy for my cat to escape it was useless. This harness fits my large cat and is definitely escape proof.

Not escape proof.
My cat got it off in less than a day. Not escape proof. My other cat has not gotten out of his yet. I really like the look and how it fits, just not sure how she got out of hers.
