I bought this belt for my dad. It's reversible, adjustable holes and goes with virtually everything. My dad goes to church a lot and it looks elegant enough to wear with a suit or slacks. The hardware and quality is also good. Construction of the belt is good with stitches intact, no loose threads and no cracking or breaking. Nice smooth feel. Pretty sturdy. Good value for the versatility!

Good price for a leather belt. But: the white stitching on one side is WAY brighter and whiter than it appears in the photos. I don't like it. Also, the leather is wrinkling a bit near the buckle, and I've only worn it for 5 days. So, it's okay, not great.

I'm conflicted with this review. The belt, itself, is attractive. And it arrived next day, which is a good thing too. The problem is, it smells like mold/mildew. Not just a little bit. Strongly. It came in a little sack with an anti-mold sticker and while I don't see mold on the belt, itself, the odor is still intense. I expected a leathery scent but believe me, it's not that. Just beware.

Good belt but be prepared to air this out for a week. Whatever solution the use to color or cure it has an extreme chemical smell for a solid week. I had to unroll and place outside because the smell coming off it was very strong.

Beware of Mildew Smell! It is a very nice dress belt and well priced. Material and packaging were great! However… I ordered this for my son from a formal dance, we got it a few days beforehand and he opened it the day of the formal. The minute it came out of the box it smelled as if the belt was stored in a wet basement! It is leather, so I couldn't spray it, so I tried my best to wipe it with cleaning cloths and even sprayed fabric spray on the cloths and tried to wipe it down. It was still very noticeable. The box was not damaged, warped or damp, but the storage area where this was kept was definitely not climate controlled. After many attempts using different products, we were able to get it to a minimal smell, but it will definitely need to aired out after the formal. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to go get a new one before the formal, so we had to deal with this, but I was not happy about it! It sucks that it is a good product, but was not taken care of in handling.

Belt seems fine in appearance but it has a very strong chemical odor to it. I let it air out for a while and it never went away. It comes sealed in a bag and just smells terrible. Not sure what chemical they use but I am definitely returning it. Don't get fooled by appearance and price of this belt. It truly stinks

it broke in two weeks, the part that holds it together broke while I was wearing it. do not waste your money on this item, it's better to spend money on a good belt then to buy something so cheap that it breaks so easily. trust me, all I did was wear it the normal way you suppose to.

this looks great, fits great but the smell was god awful. smelled like its been sitting outside in woodchips and dirt for a decade. this is not an exaggeration! i thought airing it out would help but the smell has spread to the other clothes that it was laying on and its so pungent that you can smell it while in the same room with it. I left it out for over a week and no change. The package it also came in and everythig it touched during shipping reeked as well. if you don't mind the smell of dirt then go ahead and but it. I looked through the comments and surprised no one said a word about the smell.

The smell was so strong we tried to air them out outside for three days. The smell of these belts were so strong we threw them away! Not worth ordering through mail order. Never Again! Don't waste your money!
