Mail Chime Mailbox Notification System – Mailbox Signal With Wireless Transmitter & Arrival Alert

I am very impressed. Great customer service - they actually called me back. I have a mailbox about 350 ft from the house - customer service told me that was about the max range. It was working when I held it outside the mailbox, but inside the mailbox was not always working.... I found a simple solution - I simply turned the device from horizontal to vertical and the light hits it perfectly and the device is working. I am so impressed. This will save me multiple fruitless walks to the mailbox!

This is our third different model, the first two a different brand name. Neither of the first two worked at all so we sent them back for refund. THIS MODEL WORKS PERFECTLY WELL. It seems very well-built. It was easy to install. it is great to know when the mail arrives instead of making trips to the curb in the rain, snow, blizzard, and any other bad weather around here just to see if it has arrived or not. New electric mail trucks do not make the sounds that the older ones did.

Chime worked for about a year, interior alert unit relies on a power supply., which plugs into unit. Plug is similar to headset jack. feamle part on unit broke off, leaving the unit without power - now doesn't work. Which I get - things happen. Contacted their customer support, provided receipt, looking to see if under warranty. No reply after over 2 weeks. Would not recommend due to poor customer servi e. Consider a different brand. When the mailbox is opened, the receiver sounds like a telephone ringing rather loudly - the ring can be turned off. It lasted about a week before the transmitter in the mailbox fell apart and I had to use some different hardware to put it back together. Other than that minor problem, it works as advertised.

This is the second mailbox alert that I have bought the first one lasted years so I bought the same one just installed it. It is working great I would say it is 80 yards from the house

I saw a previous review that said it goes off randomly when a car passes by but I live on a 50mph rural road in Maine and logging trucks pass my mailbox within 5' at 50-60mph and I have never had a false alarm. I love it!!

I did not care for the way it attaches to the mail box door. It fell off and I ended up using a piece of dict tape to reattach it! Kind of ugly but got the job done.

So far so good! I'm disabled from a car accident and i hope this helps me out. I live on a very busy road that takes forever to cross and quite dangerous with big gravel trucks and lots of cars all day long!

best thing i ever bought. i do ebay sells %26 its nice to know if or when the mail carrier runs. its always different times.
