[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sand weight does it job. Our ladder used to shift around all the time. We used simple play sand in this weight, attached it to the ladder, and no longer have it move around. I recommend this to everyone with a pool ladder.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is useful as you would imagine it to be given its function. I can honestly say that it doesn't blow me away, and that there are other items that would work just fine to perform the same function, but it works and does perform the intended use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Main Access Universal step weight is very well made. Made with chemical resistant material helping the step weight to last longer. It is very easy to fill the step weight with sand has extra wide spouts. Also has built in handle allowing you to pickup and remove a lot easier. Step weight capacity 50 lbs making your step stronger and sturdy. I definitely would recommend this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have struggled with sand bags every summer. They either rip open or leak but until now haven't found an alternative. I was very excited to see this. It has a wide mouth that makes it easy to fill. It's made of plastic but is thicker so I'm hoping there are no leaks or cracks. It has a handle to carry and move it around to make it easy to adjust on the step ledge. Great idea!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This anchor is a great idea! I had been using a concrete brick and it was always hard to get into place under the steps. But this thing is easy to maneuver and get in place. Plus, so far it has not gotten any algae on it....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with this Main Access 200888 Universal Anchor Step Sand Weight. It comes collapsed and is easy to fill with sand thru the large opening on the top. I actually use it to hold down my pool umbrella. It fits nicely on the base and weighs it down so the wind doesn't blow over my umbrella . Works great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Main Access 200888 Universal Anchor Step Sand Weight and Swimming Pool Ladder and so far this has been keeping the ladder sturdy. It was kind of tedious filling it with sand but once it was full, it has proven to be quite sturdy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this Main Access Universal Anchor step sand weight at the end of the season, so we debated using it as a tie down for closing, but it just didn't seem practical. We decided to hold off, and wait until next season to use it for our pool stairs, as we've been needing sand weights for some time. We've been using sand bags, but they've always been a pain (ripping open, awkward, getting in the way, tacky, etc). This sand weight looks like it's made from decent heavy duty plastic material. The opening is quite wide, and seems easy to fill. It has a nice handle too. The size is good for fitting onto the stairs. I think it will work great for holding stairs down.
DON'T buy this product! I bought these and thought how cheaply made! But I thought ,well they sell these for pools so they must be treated with something that keeps them safe from pool chemicals…WRONG!! I opened my pool in mid June … put these sand weights in my pool to hold down the ladder and just yesterday I. Loses my pool and the whole tops of these cheap containers came off in my pool.. therefore leaving sand in my pool! It was a mess! Do not use these…false advertisement and it makes a Terri me mess of your pool… The only reason I gave this 1 star is because you have to pick a star to do your review!… this product gets no stars from me
Found it 20$ cheaper elsewhere
