i love this guitar it is a perfect beginner or for even an advanced player, it can be taken to the beach etc.

Perfect for 13 year old granddaughter
Perfect for my 13 year old granddaughter to learn to play on. Small, really pretty in the red finish.

Worth more than the money
The guitar met my expectations based on reviews I had read. Important things that I hadn't read are things like smooth beveled edges on the frets and nice enclosed chrome tuners. I got an app called GuitarTuna on Google play and it is a fantastic tuning option; Free, fast, and accurate. I had to run down from low E to hi E four times to get all strings in steady tune, but that was no surprise as it was far out of tune as it came out of the box. It has good resonance for 50 bucks and it looks like it should cost much more. I'm resuming learning after a 20 year break, and I think this guitar was a great choice.
