Mainstays 0.7 Cu ft Countertop Microwave Oven, 700 Watts, Black

We bought this microwave because after thinking we were clever in getting a air fryer, and thinking it would solve all of our problems-we realized there’s a lot more food we like heating up in its own packaging or simply on a plate. We were skeptical about the performance of our microwave as we thought it might not heat up our foods. We were desperately wrong, this thing REALLY heats up your food. I will say this, it has to be smaller portions or foods that were made to be “instant” food. We heat up 16oz glasses of water in less than 2min, etc.. It works for us and does what we need it to!

Being senior citizen and both of us needing double knee replacement, I happened to think that we needed a small....very small.... microwave to put on the kitchen table so neither of us had to go thru the pain of standing up to get to the big microwave on the counter. Yes, its only maybe 15 feet from us.....the big one on the counter, but the pain is not worth getting there to warm anything up.

I absolutely love this little microwave! It's small, so easy to work and the beeping is soft and quiet not loud. I returned one from Menards before I bought this one because it was so loud and wind stuffed finished heating. It was so loud it would scare me so I refunded it and found this one. I love this one.

Small but adequate for our needs. We needed one to fit on a second shelf of an utility cart. We mainly use to reheat items. I love the express buttons. I immediately disengaged the extra security safety lock feature for opening the door. It is very easy to turn this feature off and on. Great price.

Checks all the boxes for me (lit/revolving plate/low watt). I've paid MORE and gotten units that don't work. Have ordered these for family member even, and they've never disappointed. Love the 30 second button... Could be more evenly weighted, one side heavy/one not, but once in place all good. High marks %26 Thank You Walmart!

WARNING! DO NOT buy this microwave! It worked fine until March 28 - 11 days after I bought when I tried to disable the child safety lock with my food inside, it would not let me open the door. It's a REALLY bad product. I couldn't finish the other half of my dinner which was stuck in the microwave and had to eat other things. The lock is ridiculous! I was tired of manually pressing a key in order to open the door each time so the issue happened when I tried to deactivate the lock feature. I had to call support who went through the troubleshooting steps and unlock code with me to no avail. Then when I returned it to Walmart (excellent customer service by the Muskego, WI store btw), 2 associates and 2 managers tried to open it with the unlock code which didn't work for them. A hardware manager finally had to go in the back and pry it open with a chisel and some other tool in order to get my food out. Took about 20-30 mins to get that taken care of and then more time to pick out a different brand at a slightly higher price. It's a cheap piece of junk that should be pulled from all Walmarts and any other retailer that sells it. I got a full refund without any hassle though and I am glad the people at the store all tried to help. Also, when I got it, it had a large dent on the side near the top. If you read other reviews, I am not the only one who experienced this. This is unacceptable even for the cheapest model. It's like a bad budget motel room that while cheap/basic, should be clean and safe to stay with any appliances working. The store clerks thought the dent might have been the issue but I am not sure. Get a Hamilton Beach one - those are much nicer!

so be careful bc these are made cheaply i just opened ours, and the door hinges dont work right or shut properly already also pay attention to the size. its definitely tiny but it works.... although i imagine it wont for long because the wobbly door will give out.

When taking out the box .I first cleaned it. plugged in, about 5 minutes the microwave had aloud sound was coming from the top right side above the key pad. turned it off for 20 min. plugged it back in. the top got hot and cut off by it self. I called the customer service department and spoke to a representative, regarding the issue. as I was waiting for him to return, ask if he wanted to hear the loud noise coming from the microwave. he said yes. please turn it off before it blows up. I was requested by the customer service rep to return it back to the store ,for a refund or purchase another brand.

I ordered this microwave and because I was redoing my trailer to live in I didn’t open it. When I finally did it didn’t turn on and it wasn’t even new! It was someone else’s return that they had resealed and stuck on the shelf! Absolutely the worst experience with this product and store!

I was excited to receive my small new microwave, but when I tried it out there was sparking and arcing and it made a loud noise. The problem was not the static shield because it was brand new. Therefore, the microwave had either a bad magnetron, high voltage capacitor, bad diode or a bad transformer. You would think the manufacturer would test the appliance before selling it. Shame on them and Walmart.
