Mainstays 1 in Cordless Vinyl Light Filtering Mini Blinds, White, 34 in W x 64 in L

I have 48 windows. Count 'em. 48. I have had to mostly make all my curtains and drapes, because I am on SS and that doesn't allow for much high-end treatments, but I like to sew. When I first bought this old historic relic, it had the old-style roll up shades on every window and I found lots of discounted fabrics at Walmart, some as low as $1 per yard, and made fabulous curtains to hand in front of the shades, but eventually, the shades wore out and had to come down. I then repplaced the ones in the dining room (6 windows) and living room (7) with the 2" plantation blinds, and they were perfect. They fit the style for the age of this house, which has forty six 32" x 65" windows and two 24" x 45". But I couldn't afford those on all 48, so the 2 rooms that had them still equaled almost $400. I now have to replace those, as the cords have worn thin, some are frayed, 2 are broken abd the blinds can no longer be raised or lowered, as they are starting to come off the cords now.Boy, I should have planned for this a decade ago! The price of the heavier 2" blinds are off the scale! So when I found these mini blinds at this price, I ordered a couple for the two smaller windows in the bathrooms, and WOW! So pleased to find they are not cheap looking or flimsy, and unless you inspect them up close or feel them, you don't know if they are vinyl or metal, and they look absolutely fine! I was able to acquire enough for all 48 windows, such an upgrade even (especialy) from the outside. Every widow is uniformly dressed. I have comlete privacy when they are closed. They are not room-darkening, but tone even the brightest summer sun down to a cool shade tree light-level.These are one of my BEST finds and best buys at Walmart to date, simply due to their price and the quantity I needed, and having them all in stock. I really like the blinds except for one fact I ordered White and I'm trying to figure out. Why did they come a little darker than White? They came almost Beach but other than that it was very easy to install if I'm 75 and I could install it myself that's very easy.

I'M SO HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE. I PUT OFF GETTING BLINDS FOR YEARS, AND HONESTLY I WISH I HAD DONE IT SOONER. THE QUALITY IS GREAT, THEY LOOK NICE, AND THEY MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN MY HOME. THE BEST PART WAS BEING ABLE TO HAVE THEM DELIVERED. WITHOUT A CAR, SIMPLE TASKS CAN TURN INTO BIG PROJECTS, SO HAVING THEM BROUGHT TO MY DOOR MADE THE PROCESS EASY. AFTER 7 YEARS OF SAYING “I NEED TO GET BLINDS,” IT FEELS AMAZING TO FINALLY CHECK THIS OFF MY LIST. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

These are decent blinds at a good price. Easy to adjust the length to fit your window. I deducted a star for appearance because they aren't actually white; they are a very light off-white. I think it is close enough to white for most people. It works for me.

In the first of the 3 I bought recently one was broken . that was not all when I went to open it the blind broke to pieces. And all 3 are hard to turn to open %26 close. One of them when lifted droops to one side. I had bought the same type several years ago with no problems but will not buy these again. I gave it a 3 star only because they do cover the windows.

I ordered 4 of the same blinds. 3 were new, but 1 had extra tape on it, which was my 1st sign. After getting it out the box, I noticed it was missing the end cap. I was going to accept that, but once I mounted it and pulled down on the blind, I saw a 10” piece of 1 of the 1” slats was broken, and completely missing. Now I have e to make another trip to the store and hope they have another 1 in stock.

Ok so they're made of inexpensive materials. But they look and operate great. I do like the modern installation method. The old way with the plastic box type thing with sliding cover was terrible I thought. These have metal brackets that the blind snaps into. It's hard to get the brackets mounted at the correct height and distance, but even if it's off a bit it still works and looks ok.

These blinds can not even handle being opened one time. The first day they were hung, we opened them and they immediately began to crumble. If you so much as walk by the window, another piece falls off. I understand they were $7, but the quality is nonexistent. Absolutely junk.

They aren't white! They are a pinkish beige. It's obvious from the stark white carton. They're wrapped in that. The product inside is actually blush not white! So here I am in a new house short one set of blinds. I go to Walmart find what I need and I actually pay to have it delivered within 3 hours. Imagine my frustration when I look at it, open it up and the product is not white! Customer chat said they'll be happy to give me a refund when I return the product to the store. So what was the sense in all of this craziness when now I have to go to the store anyway! Complete waste of my time and money. I will never shop at Walmart again.

It literally crumbles to pieces with barely any use. Meaning it just hangs on my window and every once in a while I go to lift a slat to look out and the piece breaks. If you promise to never ever touch it again once you hang it, it'll serve the purpose of a window cover. lol
