Mainstays 100% Cotton Cheesecloth, 4 Square Yards

I cook whole chickens bundled up in cheesecloth, in the crock pot. Fill the pot with water, put in the chicken, dial to High and walk away. When done, I carefully life the cheesecloth bundle out of the pot and into a large bowl, let cool, and separate the meat for the dish I am making. Easy-peasy and quick. Very effective. Thank you Walmart!

Exactly what I was looking for. These succeed in keeping fruit flies and other small pests away from my garden cuttings and plants that are currently indoors or go in and out. Of I purchased something on Amazon previously that was labeled “cheesecloth”, but was loosely woven and large fruit flies and others easily went through the holes….a waste of money and time. I'm pleased with this purchase.

WOW! It does just what it says it does. For that it gets a 5 star. Amazing how this works. You get 5 stars for doing what it is supposed to do!

I bought this to make butter. Awesome!! Also awesome for cheese making. If you have never tried it, try it and use this cheesecloth and you will never go back to buying butter or cheese!!!!

these bags have all kinds of uses It's basically cotton . You can use them for infusing stews with spices and you can simply remove the bag, makes great cannabutter

I use cheesecloth to strain my cold brew coffee . This is the perfect size for my small batch strainer and is cheap enough to throw away after I use it. I just cut at the length I need- strain the cold brew from the grounds - and then toss it.

As a canner, cheesecloth is known for its ease of use for straining and separating solids and liquids. The stain aspect is minimal if immediate washing takes place. The durability of Main Stays has a proven track record in my household already and the cheesecloth stood up to their quality of products. A nice purchase at a reasonable cost and online available too.

This cheesecloth was very thin, and the gaps were very wide. I had to fold it 4 times to get it to the right size I needed to drain my homemade cheese. On that point, each piece is wide and long enough to be able to fold it so many times. The material felt a bit cheap in my opinion. I would recommend it only if you are on a budget and it's just a one-off project.

The package didn't reveal the grade and Sparky didn't know either, so I thought I should. It's a very loose weave. I think three layers will work. For the price it's a good buy.

although I'm sure the item works good but when I went to pick it up the package was brought to me it was already open so i couldn't use it. I was so mad and it was the day BEFORE Thanksgiving and it was busy and i was already tired being around people and i still needed to hurry and get home to cook. It was a waste of $ because i couldn't use it.
