Mainstays 1000 W 4-Slice Black Toaster Oven

Perfect. This is just what I was looking for to use in a small basement apartment. It works pretty well for the size and price. It bakes, broil and toast. I just keep a close watch on it so, I don't burn my food or sit anything on top.

love this little toaster oven. It's great for chicken strips, pizza rolls, tostino's pizza squares, heat up my garlic bread, and so many more. We use it all the time.

Nice oven for basic baking, roasting, and grilling needs. Because of size, quickly heats and emits odor possibly during first time uses. Would like to see rack and pan able to seat together without having to remove one or the other. Overall, meets my needs and for the price, can't be beat!

The product works like any other Toaster oven and really is very easy to use. The electrical cord is very short so I had to buy an extension cord, in order to place it where I wanted it to be on my counter. Since it is a black model, it would have a better look if the glass would be tinted darker. I would gladly have paid more if that was the case.

Very good price, well made, came on time. Easy to use after I learned how to use it. Only one drawback for me is the nobs could have had some ridging and made straight instead of smooth and conical in shape. The nobs are a bit stiff to turn and if they were changed as I have recommended, they would work better for people with disabled hands. (carpel tunnel, neuropathy, arthritis, and aging.) Other wise I am completely satisfied and happy with my toaster oven. It works well with frozen foods such as waffles, French fries, etc... Toast is great too. I will be using it a lot. it is a good product but a little too small to really do anything except to heat a slice of pizza, if it is a few inches wider, i will give it a 5 star

Best things to cook in this oven would be hot pockets, bagels, toast, toaster strudel anytl small items that you'd usually end up putting in the oven.

Much too small for 4 slices, won't matter if you are looking for 1 slice or to cram 2 slices closely in together. Knob is very hard to turn, even with no medical issues in hands, it is extremely hard to turn, Would not be easy for an elderly or handicap person to set temp & time. Knob also does not display the temp or cook style such as toast, bake, etc. easy to see. Worth the price, if you are looking for cost wise instead of user friendly. Have only had for 3 weeks, planning to give to thrift shop and will just purchase a different one. Not worth the gas to take back to Walmart.

I don't like the timer on the toaster. Had to unplug it because the toast was getting to brown and I couldn't turn it off any other way. It will take time to get use to it I guess.

The rack only allows for placement near the top or the bottom of the oven, no way to place it in the center. Result is toast that is browned only on one side. Will be returning.
