Mainstays 10in Silicone Solid Spoon, Red

I am really pleased with this spoon. I like this being made of silicone as it keeps my pots from getting scratched up. I have put in dishwasher and it survived. I like it is easy to stir the pots with this and is a good size for serving food also. It will not break on me. Overall it is good quality, sturdy and does what I need it to do. I would definitely give this spoon my recommendation.

I just LOVE this spoon!! I use it pretty much everyday. It is a heavy duty large metal spoon covered in silicone. I have a bunch of big spoons for casserols, etc...but all bend because they are made of plastic. This spoon doesnt bend at all and is safe stirring things cooking on the stove without melting or loosing shape like all my others. Overall TERRIFIC product and would highly recommend! I plan on donating all of my plastic casserole spoons and buying a bunch of these not only for myself but for Christmas gifts for next year. These would make great fifts with a set of potholders, dish towels and spatulas to match. Just an all around high quality item thank you Walmart, I love, love this product:) :) :)

I am fussy when it comes to kitchen tools. I am a minimalist so my kitchen tools being multifunctional is a must. This spoon is sincerely GREAT! It has a solid, strong core that does NOT flex, but the spoons outer edge is soft & pliable like a silicone spatula! It is entirely silicone coated. It is a smaller spoon than the others I have had. It is approximately 10 1/2" in length. The spoon without handle is, at it's widest approximately 1 1/4" across by 3" long. I used this to make German oatmeal (very sticky, but scrumptious) Being silicone is perfect for that because the oatmeal did not stick to it & the soft edges scraped the pan clean with every swipe. It comes clean very easily. I like the red color of it & it has not stained. I'm very happy with this spoon.

This is a great size for a silicone spoon. The handle is a little on the long side which is great for deeper pots. The spoon size itself is smaller which is helpful for stirring, and allows for smaller portions to be scooped. I like the feel of the silicone handle. Washes up great and looks like it should wear well. I would buy this again and would like to have multiple color for festivity.

I got the spoon in the gray color. The spoon size (see my photo) is slightly larger than a serving spoon. I also have it pictured next to a table (or soup) spoon. It feels substantial and well made, almost as if it is a metal spoon covered in silicone. There is no flex between the handle and the cupped part. The edges of the cupped part are softer and somewhat flexible, which is nice for protecting the finish of non-stick pans. It did not stain when stirring boiling tomato sauce and cleaned up to its original color. Its heavier than a plastic spoon, which also leads me to believe the inside is metal. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the other utensils in this set.

I am very happy with my Mainstay Silicone Spoon. The silicone is BPA-free and heat resistant. I have noticed that this spoon is excellent to use when mixing together the batter. The batter is so much easier to slide off the spoon without sticking to everything. I also love using this spoon in my steel cookware. I do not have to worry about a metal spoon scratching the surface of my cookware. I like to use wooden spoons as well but they can get stained and you definitely do not want to submerge a wooden spoon in liquid for too long. So, this spoon checks all of my boxes. It is easy to clean. I love the bright colors. This particular spoon is deep enough to use for serving soup. I am pleased to add this Mainstay Silicone Spoon to my kitchen tools.

The Mainstays Silicone Spoon comes in a variety of colors. I got a dark grey and it pretty much matches anything. This is one solid piece so there are no nooks and crannies that collect gross things or trap water creating mold (if you've ever pulled apart a 2 piece spatula then you know what I am talking about). There is a hole in the top of the handle so this can be hung up using a hook. I keep these kind of utensils in a plastic holder so I don't really need that but it is a nice feature for those who do. The spoon has a strong, rigid handle. The cup is rigid too to about half way up then it is a bit flexible. I like this because it eliminates my need of using 3 different utensils for one dish. I can use this spoon to stir the pot and not worry about it melting or tearing up the nonstick coating of the pot. The spoon has a deep enough cup that I can serve with it as well, and because of the flexible part, I can also scrap the sides of the pot, eliminating the need of a spatula.

I had been using this spoon for about a month now. It has a metal core- but the entire spoon is coated in silicone. The edges or lip of the spoon is silicone only which makes it really flexible and it works great as a spatula of sorts, getting food scraped off the sides of bowls, pans and jars. It holds exactly two tablespoons in the spoon bowl, and it works well as a serving spoon in this regard. It's a little too light on capacity to be a great ladle (think chili), but I have used it as such anyhow. I am also glad they have a hole on the end for hanging it, as a lot of cooking utensils don't and I do hang some of my items. It's a great spoon.

I love this spoon. It's more sleek and slender than other spoons I have. It makes it much easier for storing in my utensil jar. Even though the handle is thin, it's extremely durable. I like how small and deep the scooper is so you can really get a good amt of food in it. I plan to get a few more because I like them so much!

It is a bit smaller than I expected buy still good for stirring my cook pot. I made fudge which can get very hot and very thick. The spoon did very well; it did not bend or warp. It went through the dishwasher nicely. It is a nice all around cooking spoon. The picture shows the spoon on the right next to my other cook spoon. You can see it is a bit smaller but it works great.
