I'm old fashion about products. I prefer using Mainstay than the Superb. Superb looks cheap and if it don't seal my canning well then my preservers will rot. I recommend Mainstay.

I recently bought new jars. canned pasta sauce and none of the lids worked. had to re-can and used these lids. all sealed perfectly.

Haven't used them yet but they are exactly what I expected.

These work as well as the expensive brand.

To date, I haven't had any issues with these canning lids sealing as they should.

Wasn't thinking when I ordered this. We canned 207 quarts of tomatoes this weekend and 25 did not seal with this lid. I recommend getting Ball or at least a name brand - they seal every time and will save you a lot of work. I've home canned for nearly 50 years.

Used the lids to water bath can some home goods, several of the lids buckled and bent during the process and did not seal the product. The sealant on the inside of the lids that buckled came off leaving a black substance on the inside of the jar

I wasted so much money by buying dozens of these lids to do my canning. They simply don't seal. I have about a 50% failure rate even after cold packing my jars twice. Please just go with a known brand and not these cheap ones.

they will not seal. I've lost a lot of food this year. went and bought Ball and every single one of them sealed. please don't purchase these and lose your good food like I did.. food you have sweated in your garden for. thanks Connie

I bought these Mainstay canning lids to try because they were a bit cheaper than Ball or Kerr. BIG MISTAKE ! Over half of my jars did not seal. I have only had an occasional one not seal when I use Ball or Kerr canning lids. It ended up costing me more time and money. Oh, I am not a novice canner. I have been canning my garden vegetables and fruits most of my life and I am 76 years old.
