I was leery about buying these lids as they are not the name brand that I usually buy. I have had problems with other lids when pressure canning meat. These lids held up well as the name brand. Everyone sealed! I was impressed. I will buy these again.

I had never tried this brand in the past but will use it in the future. I'm old school and usually boil my lids before using but I took a chance and just put them on the jars. I was pleasantly surprised that all the jars sealed very well. This is a time saver for me not having the boil the lids. I will be using this brand in the future because they work and are less expensive.

worked fine for me canning pre cooked hamburger soup and chicken and dumplings. I wait a month to unseal one and taste test the batch before sharing with neighbors.

If you are really in a bad pinch, these may be okay for you. I found that many of the lids don't seal, and it was very irritating to me to try 8 lids before one stuck! I had to buy some Ball ones to be able to continue my canning, but the Gloversville store substituted the regular jar for a wide mouth, and I wanted no substitution ! It was a mess all the way around, and I had to go to the store myself to get regular jars so that I could continue my canning!

Originally, I ordered 2 pks of regular sized jars lids. Received wide mouth. Complained. Was told I would be receiving g my 2 boxes of regular sized jar lids today but opened my box to find 2 more boxes of wide mouth boxes . I DO NOT WANT/ NEED WIDE NOUTH LIDS.

Only 3 of the 18 lids we used sealed! I've been canning for years and never had this happen. Ran to the store in the middle of canning and bought Ball brand lids to finish the last of my jars—every single one of the Ball lids sealed right away. Will never again use Mainstays brand!!

Negative stars. I just finished canning 16 quart jars of tomatoes. 5 out of 7 I used failed to seal. Had to run out %26 get name brand. I should charge them for gas.

I bought three boxes of these lids, and almost every one of them didn't seal. Some would seal if I did another round of pressure canning, but some would pop after sitting for a while, and I'd wake up to ruined food

If I could give zero stars I would. My time is valuable and to have all the jars not seal and have to find Kerr/Ball lids that were already used once to get the job done is ridiculous!

Three out of four FAIL! Never happens with Ball ir Kerr brands! worthless, costs you more money than they are worth! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
