This Mainstay non-stick pots and pan set is lovely. And it happens to match the blue paint I used in my kitchen. The set is complete with three different size frying pans and 3 sizes of pots. The handles are heat resistant too. It comes with interchangeable lids! Non stick is a must so love that! And it comes with cooking utensils! A good set for the price!
These pots and pans easily stack to fit in our shallow kitchen cabinets. We also love the smaller size of these for portion control and the little single serve “egg” pan, perfect for a fried egg. All nonstick and beautiful color. The matching utensils are good quality too.
I purchased the Blue linen set, and they're beautiful! The packaging ensured that no dents or scratches could occur. The handles are riveted and screwed, so I have no worries about them failing. Clean up, after cooking was a breeze! I'm glad I bought them. I was hesitant to begin with, because of the low price, but I have no second thoughts now.
I have been needed a new cooking set for a while. I am so glad I got this. These pots and pans are so light (which is great for my chronic pain). The food slides off of the pans perfectly! And color is awesome. Light blue just works. I love my new set!!
This cookware is exceptional! The price is amazing for a quality coating like this. Food does not stick, and cleanup is a breeze. I have used them for a little while now and always hand wash as directed, and they are excellent. This is such a beautiful color (blue linen) I leave 3 that we use often just sit on the stove. The color is so lovely with stainless.
Bought this set cause it was on sale and i was in desperate need of a new set. I'm so Happy with my purchase. Ceramic is Way better than the aluminum set i got. Ceramic is 100% nonstick... FYI remember not to use forks, knives or anything sharp on your nonstick pots %26 pans to increase longevity
This Mainstays Ceramic Coated 12 Piece Set - Blue Linen looks very nice. I like the blue linen color. It's a very relaxing color. This set is well made. It comes with twelve pieces. The handles on the lids and handles are a silicone material, so they are comfortable to hold and easy to get a strong firm grip on which is important when handling hot food. I like that these are made PTFE & PFOA chemical free. They do a good job cooking and have a smooth non-stick surface. The Dutch oven is great for baking, and the pans for frying and cooking other dishes. It even includes a small omelet pan. The utensils it comes with are lightweight and okay quality. This is a great starter economy cookware set. I like the compact packaging Walmart used to pack this, because it cuts down on excess paper waste. I would recommend it.
Items in this set were all same sizes as my old T-Fal set, except the large pan is smaller, which is a bonus for me because the lid for the 5qt pot fits it also. Most inside surfaces had minor blemishes, rough spots that I don't know if will become problems later. The rim of the 5qt pot was dented and not perfectly round. The lid wouldn't fit but I was able to bend it some with my thumbs, enough to make the lid to fit. Also the botton wasn't fully flat and I was also able to push down on the bump with my thumb to make it flat. It weighs only a 1/4oz less than the T-Fal pot of the same size but the material seems to be much softer. Like all aliminum bottom cookware, these will leave black marks on your white kitchen sink that you need to scrub off with cleaners. If non-stick means food won't stick to it while cooking, these are not non-stick. Pancakes, fried vegetables, etc. stick a little while cooking but they wipe off easily, at least if you don't let them dry hard. Eggs however stick and burn really badly even on medium heat on a small electric range (see photo attached). I had to let it soak and use sponge with dish soap to clean it. The medium pan is handle heavy. It tips over when there is nothing in it. These are my observations after the first use. I don't know if they will last long enough to even consider them as consumables that I will need to replace in a year or two. If you want to buy these for the nice colors, go ahead. Otherwise think twice before you buy.
As soon as I opened the new pot set, there was a scratch already. Like no! Refund please. I waited a almost a week for this set too. Was waiting to use it. I want my brand new pot set to be flawless meaning no scratches. Otherwise I would have used them. Took it to Walmart and they said it’s not in the system and I have to wait 24 hours before I can return again. Smh
I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the cookware I recently purchased. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been nothing short of dismal. Upon my first use, I noticed that there were black substances appearing around the edges of the pot while I was boiling water. This was not only unappetizing but also raised concerns about the safety and quality of the cookware. The fact that such materials were leaching into the water I intended to consume was alarming. I attempted to rectify the situation by giving the kettle a thorough cleaning, but to no avail. Even after multiple rounds of cleaning, the issue persisted. It was frustrating to see that no matter how diligently I cleaned the pot, black and dirty residues continued to appear on the paper towel whenever I wiped the edges of the pot. This not only points to the subpar quality of the product but also raises questions about its manufacturing standards. The overall condition of the cookware has left me thoroughly dissatisfied. Not only is the appearance of these black substances unappetizing, but it also indicates a significant flaw in the manufacturing process. It's disheartening to spend money on a product that not only fails to meet basic quality standards but also jeopardizes the health and safety of the user. In conclusion, The presence of black substances around the edges, the difficulty in cleaning, and the consistent reappearance of these residues are clear indicators of a poor-quality product.
