Mainstays 12-Piece Eco-Friendly Dinnerware Set, Tan

I purchased these Mainstays dishes to replace my old everyday dishes. This is a complete service for four and includes dinner plates, salad plates and bowls. They are BPA free and are actually made of recycled plastic water bottles. I like the fact that they are light and sturdy and don’t look to be fragile like ceramic dishes. They have a more handmade appearance than conventional dishes. These make nice everyday dishes but I wouldn’t be embarrassed to use these for guests as well. They have held up well in my dishwasher and I haven’t noticed any staining so far. I’m considering purchasing a second set so that I’ll have a complete service for 8. I’d definitely recommend recommend these dishes to others.

This eco friendly dinner set by Mainstays is not only pretty but extremely durable. I love that this set comes with three plate sizes and bowls to match that are dishwasher safe and microwave safe. These plates are so nice and easy to handle and without the fear of chips or breaks that make kids can make on traditional ceramic plates. I will say the box describes these as tan but they are light in color with some neutral specks through the tableware. I think I like the eco friendly aspect and sustainable tableware aspect of these because we use so many things one time and toss them and these are actually so versatile for a nice place setting to a outdoor space place setting. These dishes actually hold up to the test in the dishwasher and microwave which is something most of us look for in a everyday set alongside being BPA free. Definitely recommend this set for any occasion such as college student, first time home owner and a mom of many like me.

I loved this set the minute I opened the box!!! The color which was a white & gray speckled design was perfect and the unconventional shape that the set had made them fun to look at! They’re dishwasher AND microwave safe which is beyond perfect for a family like mine! My only wish is that the set came with matching cups! Love love this set!!

I ordered the Mainstays 12 piece set of dinnerware that are BPA free. I needed shatterproof dinnerware that looked nice but was usable outside on my cement patio for outdoor get togethers. I am so surprised at how beautiful these are. The finish is like a beautifully speckled stone yet the material is made of 100% PET which is a clear, strong, lightweight resin. These are from recycled materials and can be recycled again! I ordered the tan yet they look more like white, which is what I wanted, with the blue speckles. I love the very high end look plus they’ll last for years and years! The dinner plates are rounded on the edges and present a very clean appearance. I especially love the big bowls. They each hold over three cups! These will be great for summer salads on the patio! The set also includes a salad or sandwich plate. I can use this size too for the kids or just a sandwich. Since they look so gorgeous, I am using them indoors for my Easter dinner. I like the quality as well. They can be put in the dishwasher and are safe for reheating foods in the microwave.

I chose this set for one of my boys, he will need a full set of dishes once he moves out of my house. I love the fact that they are eco-friendly, that is very important to my son. They are lightweight but still sturdy and the entire set is dishwasher safe. The dishes are packed very well, and all arrived in one piece! We have enjoyed using them so far and I may find another set to replace my own!

I really like the Mainstays pieces mostly because they will not shatter when dropped. I often have my grandkids over so these dishes are perfect for them. I use them all the time because they are light weight and I don't have to worry that they are going to chip when I stack them in the cupboard. I also like that they are eco-friendly since I care about our environment. Also good to know that they are non toxic and non porous so less chance of bacteria and germs. Another nice feature is that they can go in the dishwasher and the microwave. The plates are a great size, not too small or too big. The bowls are perfect for cereal with milk or soup. I would recommend these dishes to a friend since I really enjoy them.

This Mainstays 12 piece eco friendly dinnerware set is so cute. It washes up good and the plates don't stain. The bowls are a good size. The kids took them outside for a BBQ lunch. They don't break and are very durable. They are unique and stack well. Love them. We already have several colors of the cups that are this brand. Safe material. We use these every day. So far we had cereal in the bowls and soup and the plates we had a salad and dinner.

I got these to use out in my balcony. I wanted something sturdy (not paper or thin plastic). They are thick and sturdy. I purchased the white. They are white with black speckles. They are perfect for the patio and I love that they are dishwasher and microwave safe. I haven’t used them in the microwave yet. The bowls are large and deep so I actually use those for small serving dishes sometimes. The plates are large and medium size. They are round and come in other colors. Might be nice to mix and match them. They don’t come with any cups because I didn’t need those and sometimes those become a waste. Not sure if they sell some separately, if needed. All in all. They will be a. Great addition to my patio social set up.

I bought these to use as our everyday dinnerware and save the porcelain for when we have company. These are nice looking and solid for plastic. However, when I made curry and ate it off them, they stained. I wish I would have gotten black, but I still may because of how durable they are.

These were good quality for the price, the only thing I didn't like was that they stain pretty easily. Other than that they are perfect for the kiddos!
