Strong Scent
I haven't used these candles yet, but they seem substantial – very heavy, and about 3 inches deep. The scent is extremely strong, and maybe that's good for keeping away the mosquitoes. However, I am very sensitive to fragrances, and just taking the lid off the can made me have to go into a different room. The directions were a little bit confusing,vis a vis how far they should be from people, how far they should be from walls, warning to not blow out the flames, etc.

doesn't work was looking for protection from bug bites, i hot bit more and choke by the smoke..dang!!!!
