I've been buying this type of fleece for a while to make plushies and it's always great to work with it doesn't fray when cut and the color stays after multiple washes.

This Anti-Pill Fleece Fabric is perfect for your do-it-yourself projects. I have so many ideas of uses, one being the lap blanket I just finished. I had been looking for a thick fleece blanket and one narrow enough for use in a car or wheelchair (for my mother). Being unsuccessful in my search, making one was my only choice. I’m so glad I did. I doubled the fabric for extra warmth and thickness. I purchased seam binding to give it some class! It’s the perfect size. I used the 54” fabric, one and one half yards, doubled lengthwise. I especially like the color brown. My pictures make it appear lighter than the rich deep brown that it is. I also like the softness of this fabric. I can’t say how impressed I am with the overall look of this fabric made into my blanket. It looks like it costs lots of money and will last for years with the anti-pill feature. Next I plan on monogramming it as soon as I decide if I will give it to my mother or keep it! I’m going to make a fleece pullover next with this fabric.

It's lightweight fleece, but it services the purchase to make tie fleece blankets. Since Joann's went out of business it's been difficult to find fleece material. Very happy that Walmart has expanded it's fabric department. It's quality merchandise and I am able to match the solid to the prints that I purchase. The price is decent, too. Will continue to buy my material here.

I used this fleece to replace a worn-out covering on a body pillow my granddaughters use. This fabric comes in 1.5-yard precut sections--a slight disadvantage because I needed 2 yards but had to purchase 2 sections or 3 yards. I washed it before cutting and when I tumbled it dry, there was very little lint on the dryer screen. The edges did not ravel. Since I no longer own a sewing machine, I hand-sewed it into a cushion cover, an easy project since it didn't pill or shed. The fabric is soft 100% polyester. The girls glued some foam decorations and the fabric glue held well. This fleece was so easy to work with that I am purchasing more in other colors to replace some toss pillows in my bedroom.

I bought this to make wreaths out of strips of the fleece, tird around a wreath form. I added a red fleece %26 alternated the 2 colors. This fleece was a much better quality than the red I had to use. The red I ordered from WalMart came %26 it was grey! But, this green fleece is great!

I use this fleece for my guinea pigs bedding. It's not very heavy but that is fine because it is absorbent enough and dries quickly.

I really hate to have to leave a negative review here on the Walmart site, but this fleece fabric is atrocious. I would not even consider this material fleece, for one it has not nap, it's flat and it's very pilly.. I actually washed this fabric to see if it would fluff up a bit but actually washing it made the fabric worse and more pilly. If you are a serious sewer, I would definitely not buy this material, you will be extremely unhappy with your purchase.

thus material is NOT,fleece. its flimsy, comes apart when cut even wuth ritary cutter. almost impossible to keep right sides of fabric tigether, under the presser foot of a serger while trying to put together. its slithery and slides away from foot. dont waste your money
