Mainstays 15.55 oz Cream Sculpted Hug Earthenware Mug

Bought this as a appreciation gift for someone and had it sent to their home. I've never actually seen this in person, however, when it arrived and I asked if they liked it—they sent me a picture and it did not look exactly like the picture. It looked more like two female chest parts sticking out of the cup. The good thing is, the person is a mug collector and ultimately just chalked it up to it being part of their ”odd ball“ coffee cup section. They told me they wouldn't put this cup in the microwave to reheat anything—just use it as decoration/a taking piece or a coffee cup.

Love this 'hug mug' as I called it nowadays. I have both colors this color and gray one. :) You can pair them together - both colors above and give as gift set for your grandparents, parents, coworkers' (husband/wife) etc. You get my point about gift giving, right? Anyway, it is sturdy and most importantly of all - the' hug mug' makes me feel VERY HAPPY like I have a partner/boyfriend/friend sit next to me plus with the smiling face to top it off. :) Do stock them up as gift giving for almost any occasion because the price is very affordable as well. I personally stocked up 5 'hug mugs' between the 2 colors above. Ah, 1 for myself and the other 4 for Christmas gifts giving. I also finished my Christmas shopping for everyone on my list already for this year and saved approximately $2000 between shopping at 'W', 'K', and 'C' etc. Of course, I am an extreme bargain shopper and recently saved in the last month between 'W' and 'K' and 'C' shopping $750 plus all FREE shipping. Ah, at 'K' $700 and 'C' $400 and counting still. The latest 4 bargain shopping at 'C' - I saved 1) $100 (products bought: 4 'L' brand name face creams - middle price range and other items etc.) plus $20 credit for future use. 2) $80 (products bought: 2 'L' brand name face creams - middle high end in the price range plus other items etc.) plus $20 credit for future use. 3) $100 (products bought: - 2 packs 'C' advance toothpicks, 2 'N' brand name face wipes, 2 'D' brand name conditioners, Chocolates/Variety of wafer packs for 'V' occasion etc.) plus $11 credit for future use. 4) $100 (bought 2 'O' brand name firming %26 hydrating body lotion with collagen, 1 'M' brand name expert wear eyeshadow dusty rose, 1 pack of toffee candies and from 'E' country) plus $2 credit for future use. Lastly, I shared and still share some of the beauty items plus goodies etc. and what I mean is given to the staff at places that I go for my appointments nowadays; and had been doing the above for years. Now, doing good deeds is a very great feeling for sure, especially for me. Cheers to everyone that are reading this review and others I have written so far. I bought the set of these mugs, the gray one and the cream colored one and they sit daily on top of my coffee maker. They bring me joy in so many ways. I just love how they hug! Whereas I love everything about them, it's a little hard to drink out of them and liquid will slash around quite a bit

This little mug is as cute as a puppy! It is more darling in person when you are able to look at it from all sides. It is well made, in that the paint job and glazing are without flaws. It is generous in size, too. It is so darling that I have decided not to use it as a mug, (my family is VERY hard on mugs) but to store my birch coffee stirrers in it in our coffee nook. It's a sweet little ceramic hug every morning. If it was somehow damaged, I would buy another immediately, if possible. In fact, since the price was surprisingly low, I may get another to store little but useful items on my countertop.

It's something I saw on TikTok and it's really cute. I love it! I'm glad I was able to find it before they went out of stock completely.

The only negative comment I can make is that the curved lip makes it difficult to drink from. Adorable design and great if collecting cups. My daughter got a kick out of it.

Soo cute but arrived damaged. Plus as someone who has worked with ceramics and pottery, it's very shoddy material. And, in order to get my money back I have to return these items myself and I don't have the time for that. I don't know why they would want back broken items anyways.

These are cute but one came broken. To get a refund, I am told I must bring the piece in to the store. i bought 8 and only one was broken. So as a person without a car and disabled..I am supposed to drive to the store to get my $4.95 back?

The design is adorable, however, the mug was not as pictured in-person, unfortunately. The photos are matte finish, in-person, the mug is very shiny, and poorly molded, many imperfections. I was very disappointed, and returned this mug.
