i have had this bran and popper befor..so i know how good this one is..we eat a lot of POPCORN ....A GOOD POPER
I absolutely love this popcorn maker! My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. I kept putting off buying one because I thought, "Why would I spend money on a popcorn maker? It's just another appliance that's going to take up precious counter space." Looking back, I was completely wrong. I'm honestly kicking myself for waiting so long. This machine makes the perfect amount of popcorn to fill a big bowl that my husband and I can share during movie nights. It's become one of our favorite little traditions. Not only does it make delicious popcorn, but it's also a much healthier alternative to microwave popcorn. Investing in my health is worth far more than the little bit of counter space it takes up. That's priceless to me. The popcorn comes out fresh, light, fluffy, and tastes so much better than anything you get in microwave bags. After using this, I can honestly say I'll never go back to bagged popcorn again. If you're on the fence like I was, don't wait. I can't recommend this popcorn maker enough. It's one of the best purchases I've made, and I'd buy it again without hesitation!
This makes making stovetop popcorn so easy! We don't even do bagged popcorn anymore and easier to use than the pot we used to use. This is my go to now.
This was a little flimsy. Actually rather a lot flimsy considering the price. The plastic Dome is too brittle to be used as a serving bowl and the vented top where the butter is supposed to melt while the popcorn is popping has the little blue lid that doesn't attach in any way to the Dome so if you turn it over and use it as a serving bowl the way you're supposed to you would end up with butter all over your lap. The turning wand on the hot plate is only about twice as thick as a paper clip and doesn't reach all the way to the edge to get all of the kernels at the edge. Moreover if you use that fragile bowl to serve the popcorn it's a little tricky flipping the whole machine over as they suggest without tipping over the bowl or dropping the hot machine when the steam escapes on your fingers. All in all I was really looking forward to this but I won't be using it most likely. Definitely plan to use a different serving bowl than the Dome of the machine. I find that to be a ridiculous suggestion given the details of its design and material.
I will be returning this product after using it one time. I had owned an electric popcorn machine for years and I had to replace it, and this is not worth the money. The popcorn bowl is a cheap plastic. The butter had a hard time going down the tiny holes during the popping process. When I put the plastic lid on so I could then flip it over, both handles were extremely warm. The lid wouldn't stay on, so I had to have help flipping it.
If I could rate it zero stars, I would. The functionality of this is terrible in design. The directions tell you to wait until the item has cooled before you flip it over and if you do that then the popcorn burns because it's sitting on that hot plate while it's trying to cool it doesn't lock or clasp in any way, so trying to flip over that entire unit to the bowl is also difficult the space where the butter is supposed to melt through terrible and when you flip that over that lid does not stay connected so it just falls off but you need two hands to hold the whole unit to flip it over to use the bowl. Run on sentence- yes. Still a horrible product.
This product had good ratings, but as I look again, seems everyone got the product free except 1 prior review. This is a big waste of money, besides using oil which I don't want to do, it also doesn't pop the corn well at out. I had to toss %26 use the microwave to at least have opened kernals. . I've had 6 dif popcorns makers and this is the absolute worst. The ppl getting free product lie to get more free products. They only ask for reviews from ppl for free stuff who always write good reviews.
I would not have even given 1 star. It looks nice but that's it. I contacted the manufacturer because the cover to put on the bottom of the bowl didn't stay on. They told me to buy a silicone ring to hold it on. I used it for the first time. 1. The butter was not melting on the top until it was almost done popping. 2. It was smoking and burning the popcorn. 3. I had to turn it over onto a bowl since the butter hadn't melted. I left it sit on the bowl to make sure the butter had mostly come off. 4. I carefully lifted the popper part off and got a bad steam burn 5. The stirrer bar came off and was in the popcorn bowl. I am going to try and return this.
Too many loose pieces to keep track of. You have to add oil to the base, when it's an air popper...Handles to flip it are tiny and you could burn yourself on the hot appliance. I read all that in the instructions and wondered who made this very unsafe, not well thought out machine. Returned it immediately.
Worst popcorn popper I've ever come across would never trust possibly burn your house down. They substituted this one for a better popcorn popper that I ordered very disappointed.
