Mainstays 18" x 27" Gadget Kitchen Mat

I really liked this mat, especially that it stays where you put it. Perfect design for the kitchen and thick enough that it makes doing the dishes more comfortable, but not so thick that people trip on it. I saw others complain that the design has worn off...I'm heading into my fifth month and so far, so good. We don't wear shoes in our house so maybe that's helping...

Bought this for my daughter's new home and she loves it. Says it's very comfortable to stand on and she really likes the bright colors of the design. Mainstays comes through successfully once again!

I needed to replace some kitchen mats that were all pilled on top. I get so tired of kitchen mats with dark and dreary colors and designs that have NOTHING to do with a kitchen so I was looking for some new mats that were bright and lively. These fit the bill perfectly- they have a really cute kitchen-y design and very attractive colors. They are soft comfy foam and can be easily wiped off. They were made in the USA which I also liked. The price was right too. However, after only a couple of months use, the cute design is wearing off both of the mats. I have one mat in front of the sink and one in front of the fridge and all the utensil designs on the mats have spots where they have completely rubbed away. So while the mats are still comfy they are rapidly losing their cuteness. I am very disappointed with how quickly these mats wore out.

Do not buy. I've only owned this for four months and the paint for the utensil parts is almost all warn off. it looks like I've owned it for years.

I really liked these because of the colors and they're comfortable to stand on. However, the design rubbed off pretty soon after I bought them since I spend a lot of time in the kitchen.
