Mainstays 20" 3-Speed Box Fan, FB50-16HW, White

I have air conditioners but something is to cold. But with with this fan is as much cooling. Also I believe that square fan you get more air than round fans .

I give it 10/10 fan definitely exceeded my expectations. Better than the one I had which was a huge upgrade. Definitely will be buying a third one for the spare bedroom.

I mean its a fan,lol. I bouhgt it for my kids air fort but the design is solid. It looks better than old school fans...slightly. Well priced. Would buy agian. AA

I've noticed box fans come in two designs. This one has the cord running out the bottom (this allows you to attach a 20x20 air filter to the back).

Fans are more expensive, and products are substandard to say the least, not lasting long cheaply made, and vibrate right off the table and make so much more noise than they used to, I've bought all (holmes,lasko,cool master etc.) This is my first mainstays fan, and immediately you see the quality of how it's made in comparison to others priced the same, I purchased because of the review's others took the time to share, mostly stating the quality, my concern with any fan, is how long will it last, but this runs nice and is sturdy, I'll have to try their other products for sure.

Good for both cooling and white noise. And the feet swivel into position, rather than popping out and potentially getting lost. The only bad points are that it doesn't have a carrying handle and the cord is a little shorter than I expected. Still a good purchase.

This fan is great! It has a lot of power, really moves air across the room. It's a little loud, but not as bad as many box fans I've had in the past. I really like the front controls vs having them on top. It makes it much easier to fit in a window. I also LOVE that the feet on the bottom can be turns in and out, depending on where I put the fan. Out when free standing on the ground, and in when inside a window frame. All in all a great purchase, highly recommend.

Have been using for several weeks. Hasn't the same basic qualities of other box fans, like ease of cleaning. I have a huge problem with a filmy white dust in my bedroom now! I am not one to write reviews but I'm telling you this is really a terrible fan. Very cheap. I definitely do not recommend it.

Not happy with this product. Though the motor is quiet, there really is not any air circulation. I have the fan up on a counter next to an ac unit facing toward me, where I sit about 10 feet away and I hardly feel the air with the fan being on its highest setting.

fan puts out a good amount of cool air. that being said, I wish I never purchased this. you cannot clean this fan. this fan will get start getting filthy from environmental contaminants within weeks. I am highly allergic to dust. when this fan gets dirty, I'm throwing it away. there's 20$ down the drain
