Mainstays 24" Plastic Hinged-Lid Rectangle Laundry Hamper, White, Adult

Laundry Hamper is a great everyday option. It's lightweight, easy to move, and the hinged lid keeps laundry contained and out of sight. The plastic is sturdy enough for regular use, and the simple white design fits well in any room. Overall, it's a practical and reliable hamper for all ages.

I wanted a hamper with a lid for my dirty clothes instead of just throwing them in a laundry basket. This hamper fits the bill perfectly. It holds enough capacity for one full laundry load. The side handles make it easy to move around. I liked this hamper so much that I ordered a second one for the bathroom to hold the dirty towels and washcloths.

This laundry hamper was just what I was looking for to use in my bathroom. It's tall enough to hold several towels but not so bulky that it takes up too much space. It is attractive and doesn't look cheap. The price was better than I expected. The only thing is that with aggressive handling, the lid might not last. It's fine if you handle it correctly.

Having only had the basket a short time I highly recommend it attractive, functional useful, but having only had a days I'll let you know how long lasting it is my previous one was over 3 1/2 years. The thickness of the basket construction was very different and it was purchased at a different supplier.

The lid was a little tricky (tight tolerance) so I had to kind of push it in with a screwdriver, but other than that, looks just fine for a hamper and a great value.

Pros: - A bit more compact than another option, which is what I wanted. Still a good size though. - The hinged lid folds all the way back against the side of the bin (meaning it could stay open with the lid out of the way when needed). - I like that it's white and the size. Cons: - The lid seems very flimsy. Not sure how long it'll last. - I'm not sure if the lid is removeable, but as mentioned, it does fold all the way back against the bin. (So, not a true con maybe, since we didn't investigate that fully). - It does seem a little thinner and more flimsy than some other similar plastic laundry hampers. My husband seems to eventually break the handles from grabbing them one- handed ;-) ...so, we'll see how long this lasts...if we decide to keep it. We'll compare it to other options and decide. Hopefully it lasts a decent amount of time if we do keep it!

It's a good hamper but the only issue is that when you order online they don't send you the lid! I ordered twice online and kept having the same issue. They deliver it without the lid

Item was ok. Returned it because white fabric top would easily collect dust and show dirt. Attractive, item if you keep a very clean home and don't have shedding pets.

I had to order a replacement since the first one looked like the lid was run over and smushed. It's the perfect size for me since I can fit two loads in it. You'll have to install the lid yourself (which was a little challenging since it doesn't bend all that much. The lid isn't exactly flat like I would like it, but it's just a laundry basket, so not a deal breaker. Overall, it feels very sturdy, especially the handles. It also offers some privacy as opposed to the mesh ones.
