Mainstays 24x36 Wide Walnut Poster and Picture Frame

I had been using an old poster frame with the 4 removable sides. After years of use, the sides kept falling off. Plus they looked bad next to my wooden picture frames...so I bought this frame. Its gorgeous! Easy to put print inside, easy to hang. It dominates the wall it's on, just as I had always wanted. The frame really was a good find.

These are an nice upgrade from your typical poster frames. They do not cost much more either.

I bought this inexpensive frame after buying an expensive custom frame that looked horrible. I love the color and the style. It looks expensive and heavy, but it's not heavy therefore it's great to hang on the wall. This one is going over our stairwell. I read all the reviews and decided to make small modifications to make sure our frame last. I cut the box it came in to make the backing more secure and to keep the plexiglass from bulging. I also put wood glue on the back corners to keep them from coming apart, and also on the hanging hook to keep it from pulling apart from the weight of hanging. Overall I spent one third the price for this frame and love it.

I used this for a seating chart at a wedding and for $20 it was absolutely perfect. Its not the sturdiest but again for $20 it looks a lot nicer than the regular poster frame.

For the price, this was just what we needed to hang a poster we had purchased as a gift. It's not overly sturdy, but for its intended purpose, it works well and looks awfully classy. I wouldn't use it to frame a piece of fine art, but it's perfect for something casual like a movie poster.

I ordered 2 of these frames, both were packed and shipped well - no damage. The "glass" is plexiglass, but was acceptable for the price. The corners are "stapled" but I reinforced them with wood glue from the back. This makes me feel more confident in their strength and doesnt take away from the look at all. Putting my posters in was straightforward, but I would have liked a better hanger - these are just attached to the cardboard backing. Overall its a fine frame for the price paid.

I wasn't very please about the delivery when it arrived because whoever did damage the top part the frame, must've had a bad day. SMH But I like the texture of the wooden-liked angled frame with curved facing. :-) I would've given a 5-Stars if it hadn't been for the delivery. :-/

Ordered 3, and 2 were extremely damaged in shipment. Very cheaply made, wouldn't recommend. I found much nicer frames at an even lower cost at the craft store.
