This does help keep area rugs or mats from slipping, on smooth floors. I use it in the bathroom, which is linoleum. I use it in the kitchen, which is laminate and I've used it on tile. Worked on all 3. Will NOT help with rug on rug.

This product works very well. I know it's common sense how to use it, but a tiny bit of direct would have been nice. The stick and grip are wonderful!!

We used this product three yeas ago. Purchased the same thing again as the first had begun to dry out. The rug is in front of a recliner and holds very well. Must be used on hard floors . Probably not as well if the floor was waxed.

Works very effectively, rug stays in place, good adhesive.

I have wood floors and need to secure rugs or they are forever moving. I have tried other products and nothing works as well as these.

Super soft on my feet and my door s glide over it not too thick and gripping on the back so it doesn't slide!

I had purchased so many different types of rug tape to hold down my runners in the hall way. I had bought some from Lowes @ $11 a piece because the reviews were great. It did do not hold down my rugs at all on my laminate flooring. I tried a different kind for 2 reasons. This one does leave a residue behind, and I could not find anymore from Wal-Mart stores near me. I must say The residue it leaves behind is not hard to clean with goo be gone and a paper towel. If need to a plastic putty knife will do to. This rug tape keeps it in place while vacuuming, 3 kids and 2 dogs. I highly recommend this compared to others I have tried. Very pleased.

Item worked very well for my older dog, however the pup..not so much..he jumps and spins and that peeled the carpet off the tape ..reapplied, same thing.

Not effective. Unfortunately, no instructions are provided how to use the tape. The runner continues to slide off the pad. Everyday, I have to reposition the runner on the pad.
