Mainstays 26" Metal Round Outdoor Wood-Burning Fire Pit

despite the previous reviews my fire pit did not come damaged or dented, for the price i feel like i got more than my moneys worth. I do not expect this to last forever because it is cheaply made. But well worth it and when this one wears down i will most likely buy another one until i finally live in my own mortaged house and property. renting we dont wanna buy or make things to fancy here and have to leave something behind cause it would be permanent..so this fire pit does well at out rental home.

Need to make Smores? This is the best way to do it! Set up is easy and comes with tools like an Allen wrench. Pretty easy to set up. Comes with a really nice cover so you can leave it outside and not worry to much about rust when winter Rains comes. The unit is pretty Meh on quality welding, but for the price? Its fine. Perfect thing to take someplace, setup, and just leave for others to enjoy. We bought this on a whim %26 a Lark and it worked out great. Buy it at the store as shiping will allow it to get damaged pretty easy. But its also easy to fix. Watch out for the welds on the legs though. There just tack welded. Overall? Happy! It works, and I got to make memories. That's what its all about anyways! I did have problems with the shipping company walmart used and they did call me and text me that they could not find the address, but really impressed they went out of their way to make sure I got my package. I really love shopping at Walmart online. THank you walmart for the great service %26 long lasting Memories. My son came over for the summer and he LOVES S'mores! It's like an American Tradition like Christmas, Turkey Day for some of you not well versed in it. But my Kiddo LOVES Marshmellows too!

This was less than $25. and it works. This is made out of thinner metal, but if cleaned and stored as directed it will last a good while. This unjt was packed OK and had one bent edge of the pit bowl. It was easy to straighten out by hand without tools. Two screw holes had poor threads so I added a zip tie into the hole to tighten them up. You could also just drill the holes through and use longer screws or bolts and nuts. This pit is complete with a small grate to keep the wood off the pit bottem. It has a screen dome to keep embers in with a fork to pick it up so you can add more wood. There is even a cover to help keep water out of it. The directions say to dump and wash the pit bowl after each use. When dry then flip the pit bowl upside down also to stop it from holding water that would rust it out quickly. Do not store outside is another direction given. So basically keep water away from this unit and don't leave the ashes in it or it will rust it out quickly. This was bought so grandkids could cook hot dogs and make Smore's during their summer stay in Texas. So it will only burn for an hour or less for their cooking use. I would buy this again for thjs price and even for $40. My wife does want it for our winter use also.

From the price to the quality, this item is great! I used it for s’mores and roasting hot dogs for my daughter’s 6th Birthday party. We will continue to enjoy our new fire pit and we will definitely recommend this to anyone who want a good experience for a small price! I look forward to using it over %26 over again, especially this coming fall!🪵 🔥

Careful buying this product. Purchased ones missing pieces purchased again another missing piece. We just propped it up on a brick because we don’t want to keep returning it.

I think the product itself is ok for the price but it came damaged look like used missing one screw and bent I called numbers but didn’t get any where so maybe this review will help I don’t have a way to the store to return. And I needed for today. And just opened ot and realized. FYI

I loved the whole ordeal until the packages arrived beat up so now I’m praying the pit is ok not dented. So I open the beat up and withered box to find the pit is dented up. I bought for my granddaughters birthday party on Saturday. S’mores and movie night in driveway. It’s too late to get another one. So upset

If you are looking for a small fire pit this is 26", this is perfect for my LP install application, but I could not assemble the base legs without the screws falling out. Had to drill holes to nut and bolt together. Added a 12" burner and amber fire glass. This is not for everybody.

We put this outside when we got it, then our summer was super hot ... so it didn't get used. But we did put the cover on it to protect it. Winter ended up being on the wet side. But it's safe with the cover, right? It is sitting on a concrete slab and it is raised above puddle line. Not so ... opened up to use for a big party this weekend ... because it will be cold but sunny. And it is rusty. I know it is cheap, but we expected the cover to keep the insides safe. super disappointed. But we will try to clean and repaint it for the weekend party.
