Mainstays 28-Piece Plastic Kitchen Tools and Gadgets Set, Teal

The color is spot on if you're looking for Navy Blue kitchen decor. The utensils are a little small but I only wanted the strainer, measuring and mixing bowl. Nice set for the price.

This budget priced assortment of items for the kitchen is perfect for the beginning home or new apartment kitchen. Items focus on mixing and baking-prep. Two strainers: a bowl/colander type and a smaller one with handle and lip on opposing side. That makes the smaller one perfect for straining food and saving the liquid in another container or it is perfect size for rinsing fruit and veggies. The colander and large bowl nest nicely and the smaller strainer can be placed inside these for space saving storage. Measuring cups and spoons and the spatulas make prep easy and accurate. Several small items round out the assortment and make life a bit easier in the kitchen. Note: there are no actual cooking pieces in this set. This appears to be a nice grade plastic that should last awhile. This is a prep set. I like it and recommend it.

I have used all of the items in this set. I was a little disappointed in the colander/bowl set. the legs on the colander aren't tall enough to let sit up out of the liquid you are draining from. also not tall enough to let sit up off the bottom of the sink. The rubber scrapers were a little to soft for heavier batter and doughs but quite useable for softer batters and doughs. this whole set would be a greater starter set for beginners or anyone just starting out. Everything is self containing as it will all fit in the bowl for storage. The rubber scrapers were all the same size, I think if they were different sizes would make them even better. the clips were awesome and so many uses other than just for closing bags or memos . The measuring cups were easy to use both putting stuff in and dumping out.

The color of this set is so pretty. With a large bowl, 2 cup liquid measuring cup, dry measuring cups, measuring spoons, pot drainer, pizza cutter, 3 spatulas, assortment of bag clips with magnets, large colander and an ice cream scoop you can pretty much mix, bake or cook anything you want. The pieces are really sturdy. I really haven't tried the ice cream scoop yet but to me it feels very light, The two extra pieces are a nylon scrubber and the little flower dish to keep it on your kitchen counter, my favorites. This would be just the thing to get a teenager interested in baking.

This Mainstays Back-To-School Kitchen Starter Set is very nice. It has almost everything that you need for a small kitchen. I love the small strainer. It would be perfect for going back to college or even for a small kitchen or if you need some extra kitchen gadgets. I really like the clips too. I use them for everything. I keep them on the fridge and they are ready when I need them to keep any bag sealed shut. I highly recommend them for anyone starting out or if you need something extra for your kitchen. Nice quality too.

okay. so first things first... I LOVE this color! 2ndly... the reason i gave 4 instead of 5 stars, is because i am missing the colander that goes inside the bowl in the pictures for said items. Everything else however, is accounted for. i was VERY pleasantly surprised by the great quality for the price! the only thing i may warn you about,is the icecream scoop. you MAY want to get a spare and make it a metal one. because i have a feeling the plastic ice cream scoop will NOT last long! otherwise, everything else is phenomenal!

I was not impressed with this set. All the pieces are flimsy feeling and very cheaply made. The wheel on the pizza cutter was very wobbly. The colander bowl was the best piece in the set. The item was described to have a flannel pattern, but every piece was just solid gray. I would recommend looking for better made pieces if you are looking to stock your kitchen.

I really don't think much of this kitchen strainer and other kitchen tools. They function alright I just don't like the shade of pink. They're the same color as Pepto Bismol which isn't a typical color you would associate with any kitchen that I have had or seen for that matter. Other than that they are fine.
