Mainstays 28" Square 48000 BTU Propane Silver Finish Steel Fire Pit

This is a beautiful fire pit for a small area! I replaced the lava rocks that came with it for blue glass rocks. It took me about an hour to put it together by myself. It's quite easy and the instructions are great! Love it!

Great looking fire pit, easy to setup by yourself with just a screwdriver. I ordered this and it was a ridiculously great price. I just got it and set it up myself in under a hour. I was surprised the first few times when the flame went out after a second, but that was just it purging the air out. After the 3rd or 4th light it stayed on and worked great. I read that 10lbs of fire glass was enough and ordered 10lbs, however it wasn't enough. I just ordered another 10lbs, which I'll probably use 5 of. Get at least 15lbs of fire glass, possibly 20. I can't tell yet, but based on how it filled out, 15 should probably do it. Great buy. I'm happy with the looks and performance so far.

Obsessed! This is a great little fire pit at an excellent price. Took me less than 45 minutes to assemble and lit right up on the first try! I ordered blue glass rocks and love the look! 10lb bag is perfect for this pit! Order it, you will love it!

Easy to put together, easy to use! My husband had this put together in 15 minutes while a 5 yo and 20 mo climbed all over him! We used it the same night with my 5yo. It's bigger than anticipated. Easy to light! Also, the color isn't as “silver” as the product photo. More of a stainless steal so I was happy about that. Very happy!

This is a perfect firepit for my deck. It looks so good and the fire is surprisingly warmer than I expected. I also love the fire rock which puts out some added heat. I was able to put this firepit together all by myself and I'm a 60 year old woman! I have no regrets so far.

This is an all metal firepit that has a gray finish. It's easy to assemble and the instructions are very clear. You'll only need a screwdriver, and the unit can be easily assembled. The feet are adjustable so it's quick and easy to level the unit. The package arrived in good condition surrounded by foam and cardboard on the inside, but this one arrived with some of the metal framing bent so it had to be hammered back in place in order to properly finish the install. The lava rocks are adequate to fill the top. Now, just need to get a propane tank.

Great fire pit for the money. I didn't expect high quality for this price, but it's actually great. Some screws were missing and the instructions couldn't be completely followed. I called Walmart and since they ran out of the item, they couldn't send me missing parts, but they did refund me for part of the price, enough to run to the hardware store and buy what's missing. It's not the easiest to put together, but I managed that. We're enjoying the fire out on cold nights.

It looks really nice. There are issues with the holes lining up where the knob goes. I had to bend the metal to make it fit. It put so much pressure on the metal going through the panel that we can not turn it. I think we are going to have to make the hole bigger so we can turn the knob. It is really hard to line the panels up to put the screws in. They are really awkward to hold up while trying the screw the smaller bolts with a screw driver. I had to turn it on its side and hold the panels with my leg to keep them in place while I screwed them in. Basically. It's just really awkward the entire install. Use a long Phillips screw driver or you can't reach some of the smaller bolts. I think we got a returned item or shipping bangged it up. one panel was bent on the edge and slightly broken. we had to open the metal back. a few dents were found as well. We added reflective fire rocks which look beautiful! It is a nice size table. We had to buy a cover for it. Would have been nice if one had been provided. I'm not sure if we are going to be able to use it without more modifications to the metal frame pressing on the metal that turns the Knob. Paying a cheaper price but getting more problems. You may want to invest in a more expensive unit. I'd add pictures but it won't let me???

It was impossible to put together because one of the screw holders in the door was missing. Called customer service who said the part had to come from China and he could get no ETA from them. Started process to return to Walmart.

Setting up is great if you have very small fingers. Very tight areas to put screws in. Once set up it does not light. This is not worth it may be on the cheaper side but spend the extra money unless you just want this for show and not for use. Stay away.
