Mainstays 3-Piece Plastic Measuring Cups Set with Spouts, Clear

The Mainstays three piece measuring cup set is a great set. The cups fit perfectly inside each other to save space in the cabinet and they are a great size. These are not bulky and heavy like glass measuring cups and they are the perfect size if you have children helping you cook. The writing on these cups are also nice and big and easy to read. Overall, I think these are nice durable measuring cups and I really like them.

These are perfect for what I need and they fit into each other. I'd hand wash them so the numbers don't rub off so quickly.

This is just what I was looking for, three cups so I can separate wet and dry ingredients. I haven't had any trouble with the measurements rubbing off. I don't have a dishwasher, so I hand wash them. They did fine in the microwave. They're not a super thick plastic, but good enough, and easy to handle if you have arthritis. I haven't had any problems them not being able to hold liquid adequately or the handle bending when full. I would rather that the metric measurements and American measurements were on reverse sides, and I wish the two bigger ones had more defined measurements, but I think they're a good set for the price.

Within the first few uses, the measuring marks on these have all but been washed off with just soap and water and HAND washing !!! THAT, to me, is unacceptable !!! I will be replacing these shortly with a set of PYREX measuring cups that WILL last me more than a few months, and WILL NOT lose their markings with a simple hand washing.

It's my bad because I didn't look at the pictures close enough. I didn't realize that the measuring amounts on the side of the cup the top line doesn't end in a even one two or four cup. Measurements end with 1 and 1/4 cup two and a half cup and four and a half cup. I've never seen measuring cups that don't end in an even cup at the Top Line. It would be very easy to screw up a recipe if you don't remember it is different. I screwed up my recipe. I don't want you to screw up yours!

The jug seems sturdy enough and does it's job, however the product details obviously say you receive 3 different sized jugs which would have been really handy. We only received the largest jug. It is as expected, but it looks no better than single plastic jugs you can get separately for cheaper. If I had received all 3 then I would say it was great value.

The issue I have with these measuring cups is the red mark measures are not seeable after a few washes. I hand-washed these after use %26 can no longer see the measurements, they have rubbed off. They are not even a few weeks old : ( For longevity purposes, glass measuring cups are much better.

I am very dissatisfied with this product! They're a rip-off and dangerous! I received these for Christmas and have only used them a handful of times all together and wash them by hand and the measurement texts just wipe away! Literally useless if you can't read the measurements! At first, I was impressed to see the plastic was microwave and dishwasher safe (not that I own one) and liked having the 3 different sizes to choose from that stack inside each other, but those things don't matter a bit when you can't actually measure things! Another huge draw back and also a danger, is these are supposed to be liquid measuring cups but they don't hold up well at all and bend or sag downward just as you begin to fill them, I actually burned myself because of this! I had a cheaper hard plastic one for the past 15yrs and never had an issue so I'm really upset about these, absolutely feels like a con and a waste of time and money because now I have to go back to the store to get ones that I can actually use! In the pic you can see how much it says as I'm holding it straight, shouldn't have to set it down to get a proper read either and hot liquids will splash you so be careful!

I DID NOT! CANCEL THIS. YOU F_____ __ AS USUAL! I NEED THESE TO FEED OUR HUMMINGBIRD! I MAY NOT ORDER FROM YOU AGAIN! YOU HAVE SCREWED MY ORDERS UP TOO MUCH ! I DON'T GET EMAILS THAT SHOW WHAT I BOUGHT %26 PRICES! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR COMPANY? I HAVE BEEN WITH YOU %26 SPENT LOTS OF MONEY WHICH I MAY NOT DO AGAIN. YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE A GOOD CUSTOMER BECAUSE OF THE TREATMENT FROM YOU. I NEED MY BIRD BATH NOW! NOT IN JULY.

Within 1 week, the measurements started fading off with a quick swipe with nylon bristle dish brush, so not good for intended purpose now. Will exchange and just lightly sweeping outside with my gloved hand and see how that goes. I would have liked to see that suggested, as with another similar brand on the market. Don't understand why measurements aren't embossed, as with another similar style I still have from years ago??
