Simple Fix That Made a Big Difference
I picked this up for a place I was renting where the living room had a high ceiling—about 10 feet—and a ceiling fan that was already installed. The problem was, it was turned off when I moved in, and I had to use a ladder just to reach the pull chain. This extension solved that problem right away. It gave me the extra length I needed so I could easily turn the fan on and off and control the light without dragging out a ladder every time. Installation was quick and simple, and it feels sturdy enough to hold up with daily use. It's a small, inexpensive item, but it made a big improvement in convenience. If you've got a high ceiling or hard-to-reach fan, this is definitely worth picking up.

Even though I returned these, they did look nice in the package. I ordered METAL pull chains and received these plastic beaded ones.

Hard to connect.
It arrived intact. But the little connector pieces are bent shut to the degree that it is hard to connect it to another strand.
