Mainstays 30 Piece Gadget Set

This 30 piece kitchen set with tray is a great starter set. My daughter loves that it came in black and white and matches her other kitchen items. Something to be aware of; the black large utensils are heat resistant but the white plastic spoons are for mixing only, not for cooking. We liked that it came with a can opener, cheese grater and bottle opener as well. Not sure how sturdy everything will be over time, but for the price you can't go wrong.

not a Chef, but I have used all but one piece from the tray in 7 days, as I KNEW EXACTLY WHERE THEY WERE, instead of trying to make a fork, or knife, etc., do the job of one of these specialty tools.. had a drawer it fit right into , and can't believe how nice it is to know where every-thing is..

The price is right for this 30 pc. gadget set from mainstays, and the quality is what I've come to expect from these products. This set includes everything you can need and more and helps you stay well within your budget. Spoon, pizza cutter, cheese slicers, measuring set and much much more. This is everything you would want OR need..LOL..comes with everything to stock your kitchen with whether you are a pro or a beginner. It is very colorful and comes with it's own utensil gadget drawer. I would recommend this to anyone as a gift or for yourself.

The Mainstay kitchen utensil set has everything needed for kitchen utensils and it comes in a plastic tray. I love the multicolored utensils! All the items are good quality and made from silicone and stainless steel. I'm throwing out my old ones and replacing with the new!

I am very pleased with the MS 30PC Gadget Set. It has so many useful gadgets like measuring cups, measuring spoons, a sturdy can opener, spatulas, serving utensils, a pizza cutter, lots of clips to close bags along with many other useful items. Also, the chip clips have magnets on them so you can hang notes from your refrigerator! Nice detail!! Everything came nicely packaged in a sturdy plastic drawer divider which is great to keep your drawer organized. This would be the perfect gift for someone moving into a home or apartment for the first time. It has many of the basics you need for a kitchen. I'm sure this will be a useful gift that would be much appreciated. Another option is when you just want some new gadgets to freshen up your kitchen and make things more efficient!

This is a great utensil set for someone moving into a house, apartment, or college dorm for the first time. The set has 30 pieces, but it is actually 21 different items when you count the measuring cups and measuring spoons as one item each. The quality of the items overall are decent but some are better than others. The cheese grater, can opener, whisk, and silicone spatula are excellent quality. I expect these items to last a while. The vegetable peeler is not the best quality. It is smaller and more difficult to use than the ones I've used in the past. It's fine for peeling carrots or if you do not peel too many vegetables at a time. If you do, you might want to replace this piece with something bigger and more sturdy. The rest of the utensils are plastic. Plastic is okay for baking (measuring cups and spoons, etc), but I much prefer silicone or stainless steel for cooking when heat is involved. I've melted a few plastic utensils. This is why I gave the kit 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, though, it is a nice starter kit. I would recommend it.

This is a great set for anyone who wants a fresh start or is moving to their first apt./home/dorm. Also for wedding showers, graduations, etc. It has every basic utensil you need for cooking and baking. I was impressed by the variety - even including a silicone baster. It also includes a 1/8 teaspoon which is rarely part of any measuring spoon set. The 3 mixing spoons are one-piece making them easier to clean. The spatula and cooking spoons are non-metallic so they won't scratch non-stick pots and pans.Handles are substantial and comfortable with textured edges so they don't slip in your hands. The only item that's not included is a scissor but I'm the kind of person that has one in every drawer : ) The multi-color of red, pink, turquoise and blue make similar items easier to identify. I was very impressed with the selection of items included. We'll see how they hold up but it's a great value and takes the guesswork out of setting up your first home,

This would be a great beginner set for a college apartment, someone just starting out, or someone on a tight budget or even for camping or an RV. It contains a nice assortment of kitchen items that are commonly used. It is not a quality set and probably won't hold up well. It would do nicely to start and then replace with better quality as need and finances determine. All of the items fit very well into the divided tray in a fairly compact space so that is a big bonus.

The Mainstays Kitchen Utensil Set has just about everything you need to start your new kitchen. There are thirty items in all. All the essentials like measuring spoons, a slotted spoon, a grater, a whisk, etc. Now, the quality of these utensils is not top shelf but it is acceptable for light duty use. And the fact that everything comes neatly packaged in a handy organizer tray makes it a good deal. I keep the tray in an extra kitchen drawer and I always have a back up when one of my regular utensils is MIA , like in the dishwasher. It also makes a nice gift for a shower or housewarming.
