The Mainstays Metal USB Desktop Fan is a nice addition to your workspace whether in the home or the office. With fan blades measuring just four inches it can be easily tucked away when not in use. It is an all metal construction mini-fan. But in spite of its construction, it is still light weight. Powered by USB with five volts, it can even be powered by a laptop even when the laptop is running on battery. It has only one speed. But what can you really expect form a USB powered device? Still, it can provide you with a cool breeze when the weather is warm and not to your liking especially when a full sized fan is not available. Also the head pivots 360 degrees depending to your needs. There isn't really much to say for this fan save for the fact that it serves its purpose. And you should really get one for yourself. I would strongly recommend this for everyone!

This little fan is as cute as a button! It is metal and on a swivel stand so you can tilt it up or down as much as you want. You can even make it face straight up to the ceiling if you want. It has a USB cord and does not come with a base to plug into a wall outlet. It's called a desktop fan so it is meant to plug into a USB port on a computer, but you can also use any base plug that takes a USB jack if you're not at a computer. The cord is not removable and is about 70 inches long. It is also a very pretty color, it's called pastel turquoise. It only has one speed but it puts out plenty of air to cool you off. It's also pretty quiet when it is running which is good if you are using it in a work environment where you may be on a call. There are four silver fan blades. The fan cover is held on by three Phillips Head screws, so you could remove it and clean the blades if needed. There are three rubber feet on the stand to prevent sliding. All in all it's a very well-made little fan.

When this desktop fan arrived I was unsure if I was sent the right thing because of how heavy the box was. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it though. This little fan is built like a tank. The frame, adjustable stand and all of the hardware are metal. The fan blades are even made of aluminum so there's nothing cheap about its construction. Overall this a very solidly built fan that should last for years. The electronics of it are very simple and also look durable. There's an on/off switch on the back that toggles. The power is supplied by connecting a very generous 6 foot long USB cable to a laptop or any other appropriate source. I chose to use my MacBook Pro laptop to run the fan. It required the USB adapter to plug it in to a port. When I first turned the fan on I was blown away at how much air it moved. For such a small fan it really exceeds any preconceived thoughts of its efficiency. Because it was so breezy I was concerned that it might be draining my laptop battery. Just the opposite proved true, it uses minimal power. I left the fan on for three hours with my laptop plugged in and three with it on with only internal battery. My battery had minimal drain from the fan running and didn't effect its operation at all. The photos show my resource meter with the fan running. It barely registers any power draw. Because of the fans weight it stays where you set it and that's a huge benefit. The stand is designed in a way that makes it versatile in how/where you place it. The stand has soft but durable boots wrapped around the base so it won't scratch whatever surface it's set on. Overall this little fan is one of my new “best finds” of 2021. I'd definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

I was expecting to pull a cheap little thing out of the box but this is a really well-made metal fan and what a good idea putting a USB plug on the end so you don't have to find an electrical outlet. I'll be using this in several rooms, so I put a adapter on it. I can plug it into the wall. It doesn't put out enough wind to blow your hair back, but it's just enough to keep the air moving. Has a little on off switch in the back and it's swivels so you can direct the airstream. For a product made in China I was pleasantly surprised. Very well done.

This is a mini fan that plugs into a USB port and I was super impressed with how well it works. First of all, this fan is all metal. There is no plastic on this fan at all. The blades are metal and so is the cover and stand but I think what impressed me the most was the output this small fan delivers. It has as much power as my much larger fan and is perfect for individual use. The cord is long enough to position it as near or far as you want and there is an on/off switch on the back. I have included pictures of the front and back. I definitely recommend this great little fan.

The color I received is a beautiful light turquoise . I used this on my laptop usb and it kept it cooler and myself as well. The 360 pivot is nice to have so you can direct the cool whisper quite air flow. Such a great asset to have in any place you like.In hot weather this will be essential like on camping trips or as a little fan at the pool or even on a sleeper long hauler truck. Yes, it is USB only. The cord is 72 inches long and the base has little rubber placements to grip on different surfaces. For all your electronics like desktop computers, laptops, DJ equipment, home stereo system Or you can utilize with a wall outlet with a 500mA USB port. This fan would be awesome in office space or on a food truck or anywhere a little cool air would be nice. I have a few power banks so it will go with me when I'm traveling or if I have guest over a they want a little more air but not a big fan or air conditioning this would work great for them as well. This cool fan has one speed and the 360 pivot and one switch on/off on back of it and also that long cord well one end is permanently connected to the fan and the other end goes in a USB port. This cute fan fits perfectly on a desk and the USB cord conveniently plugs into the computer. It is very quiet and doesn't take up a lot of space. It will be great to use during summer hours.

I have trouble dealing with the hot heat and humidity as I work outside in my yard. So I bought this little USB powered fan and it works great! It keeps me comfortable and cools me off even in temps close to 100 degrees. It is so easy to set down and position to just the right angle. I like that it's portable and powered by the USB so I can take it anywhere with me even outside. And it is a very nice color just as pictured.

I must say I didn't expect much from this fan as it is really mini, but boy was the joke on me. This fan kicks out some air. It's so powerful that if you don't make sure the stoppers are on the fan's bottom, it will hum from the power. The cord is fairly long, and the fact that it is USB makes it more convenient to use. Perhaps if you only had your laptop and you were somewhere, that did not have an outlet. I'm not sure how it will drain the laptop's battery power as I have it on my desk and using a tower. I will get these for each room so that all the kids will have one at their desk. It doesn't take up a lot of space, and as I said, the cord has a nice length to it so that you can place it anywhere on your desk. [I received this item for free for an honest review.]

This mini fan is small but pulls a bit of a punch especially when you need to keep cool. What else can I say about this? I have to see how it's going to be during the summer but so far so good.
