i was looking for some thing to store my 150 pairs of jordans and nike sb's in this is the perfect solution i stacked them on top of each other and it works great
I put to racks together and could put 48 pairs of shoes on it including tennis shoes, and stilettos. I will be purchasing 2 more for the remaining shoes I have.
The mainstay shoe racks as an excellent purchase me. I was able to very simply organize my closet that had gotten overwhelmed with shoes.
Great product. I have it up against a wall, so no problems with shoes falling off like some others have noted. Slides easily to desired width. Would buy again.
Was searching online for a shoe rack that could fit within my close closet width with multiple racks and at the same time extend to longer length later placed in an open area if I wanted. Found the right one at Walmart this shoe rack fits in 24" to 45" (extendable)...at low price.
I placed all my shoes on it. I wear a 7 to 7.5, so it wasn't to big for my size shoes. It works best with heels. I tried putting slippers and tennis shoes on it, but they usually slide right off. If most of your shoes are flat, I would not recommend this product!
Except for needing to put a piece of masking tape on the bar where the toe of the shoe sits to keep them from sliding off it is wonderful. The bar is just too slick that if you don't have a good heel on the shoe to hold it in the back of the top bar they slide off but a piece of tape stuck on the bar helps the shoe stay in place.
The rack is the right size for what I needed and was easy to assemble. However, unless you have shoes with heels on them, or sneakers it really doesn't work because the bars are to slick and flats shoes slide right off due to the angle of the rack. Would be great for all types of shoes if the manufacturer would cut down on the angle and shine.
The rack is sturdy and easy to set up, but it's slick and my shoes (all flats) just slide right off. My husband wants to wrap the shelves with duct tape to make a better surface for them, but I don't want sticky on my shoes. Thinking of taking it apart and putting a few rubber bands around the pipes to hold the shoes on--just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. It didn't meet my expectations at all.
This rack does not work, the shoe has to have a heel to hook over the back to keep from slipping off. And tennis shoes don't have heels or flip flops or slipper and so on.
