Mainstays 4.90" Digital Table and Wall Clock with 12-Hour Display and Alarm

I just needed a desk clock, not an alarm clock, and I wanted something very simple. So I haven't tried the alarm. But this clock served my purpose very well. It is so inexpensive that I bought 4 of them, and now have an easy-to-read clock in every area of my home.

My phone alarm suddenly became unreliable!! So I bought this. I LOVE that there's no back light on this clock! Can't stand bright clocks. I need zero light. It's a bit bigger than I'd like but it's not wide and clunky so it works. Only drawback is that you can't set your own snooze interval. It's preset to 10 minutes. Not a deal breaker. Also doesn't jar you and the rest of the house awake with a sound like a truck backing up into the house. It's a reasonable (preset) volume beeping that doesn't require a cardiologist. It's simple, easy to set up, easy to set, has no back light, a 10 minute snooze and has an alarm sound that doesn't scare you half to death with a DEFCON 1 panic.

I bought this clock as a replacement clock for my department for my employees to have an easy way to tell the time. Great size for our needs.

Mainstays 4.90" clock is accurate, keeps time very well, the numbers are large enough to read with ease even from a distance. It has a kickstand for table use as well as an indent for hanging. It was easy to hang. Great value for cost!

Almost an excellent clock EXCEPT that they made the leading 1 very narrow and wedged up against the left bevel so unless you are right in front of it the 1 is invisible. I was ready to give this a 5 star review but looked up to see how late it was and saw it was 1:39 (actually 11:39). So if you are going to put this on a desk right in front of you then its a good choice. Otherwise no.

I am retired and a widower. One day seems like every other day. I wanted a clock to put near my coffee pot to help me remember what day of the week it was and the date. This fit the bill at a very reasonable price. A 2nd benefit came Friday when I lost power at 8 pm and it wasn't restored to the next day at 6 pm. It was the only clock in my house that didn't go dark because it is battery operated. I didn't consider that when I purchased it but glad I had it. I would give it 5 stars if the day and date were bigger, but I am very happy with this purchase

I like and use this clock everyday. The only problem with it is that the alarm button doesn't always work properly. Since I'm completely retired, I rarely use the wake up feature, so I can still use this clock.

It was very difficult to set the alarm. For some reason the package didn't contain instructions.

The number are perfect but there is no backlighting so it really hard to see the numbers. I'd really fix that.

I bought the clock so I could see the time at night it does not light up at night. I would just send it back, but I can't find it on my list of things I bought and buy another one. I love it is big nice numbers, but it does not shine at all at night so I can see the numbers.
