Mainstays 5 Gallon Plastic Wastebasket, Open Top, Matte Black

I'm in love with this trash can it's small but big at the same time it looks really nice in my bedroom and the style is so nice I will definitely buy again

Nice size 5 gallon wastebasket - bigger than I thought I ordered, but I'm glad it is larger than the 3 gallon! Works great next to my dark gray recliner! Will be easy to wipe out and keep clean! I can use tall kitchen bags in it too! Can't beat the price! Nice!!!

Well, this isn’t a fancy trash can, but it does the job. This looks like the kind of trash can mom or dad would buy for their kid’s dorm at college. It doesn’t have a lid, so it wouldn’t be good for food trash, but paper trash would be fine. It could even be used as a dirty clothes hamper.

This waste can is neither big or small. I found its useful in the kitchen and under our outdoor grill. Its very sturdy, is not flemsy. Its easy to clean. I would recommend this waste can because its smaller than a trash can but larger than a waste basket.

I ordered this in error...it's a 5 gallon and was too large for a bedroom. I was going to return it and replace it with a smaller version but was told to keep it, and I still got a refund. It looks good, just like the picture. I may be able to use it outside in the spring.

If a trash can could be called 'classy', this would be it. What a nice item from the Mainstays line. It's a very handy 5 gallon size and the color is what I would call flat black, actually the color is called Black Matte. It's a nice size, about 15"high with the top diameter at 11" and the bottom diameter at 9 1/2". It's perfect for in our dining room/kitchen area but it would work in any room I would think. You could use it with or without a liner, personally I prefer with a liner as it's easier for me to just fill it and lift out the liner rather than take the whole container to our large garbage bin in the garage. And it's made from some sort of plastic so it's very easy to clean when necessary. Love this, seems very durable and well made. And it looks good with or without a liner. And, should you choose to, it could double as a storage container or even a planter, it's somewhat versatile...use your imagination... Check it out and see if one will work for your needs.....

I mean this is really cute it's a perfect color gray it's just weird cuz it said bathroom trash can it's way bigger than I thought it would be it does not it's not the normal size for the little small bathroom trash can it's like twice that size but I do love it

Nice trash can. Ordered this for my bathroom but did not pay attention to the size! The trash can is really big. 5 gallons. Great value for the price.

I don't think I could have picked out a more perfect waste basket if I had physically walked into the store and looked for one. The Mainstays Living waste basket is the perfect size for a bathroom. Most of them are way too small and I find myself emptying them daily, but this one is deep, and the perfect width too. I usually try to keep my waste basket color close to the same decor as my bathroom and I like neutral and solid colors. This one matches perfectly...it will probably give me years of use because the quality is great. If it gets dirty you'll be able to just wash it off because of the durability in the plastic. The size will fit in most spaces because I was thinking of using it under my desk and it fits perfectly there too. The waste basket that will last for years is perfect!

Too big for a bedroom or bath, but I suppose that's my fault. In the future, I wouldn't go above 3 or 3.5 gallons. Otherwise, construction and appearance are good. Good quality.
