Mainstays 5 x 7 Picture Frame, Matted to 4 x 6, Rounded Corner, Black, Tabletop

I bought four of these black metal frames with glass to show my grandchildren's latest school photos in a uniform way. I needed to trim each 5x7” photo to fit in the frame and I did not use the mat. The result put emphasis on the photo not on the frame which is thin and the photo is slightly inset. I recommend them.

This frame was packed very well, in a box surrounded in bubble wrap. The frame itself has a nice vintage, timeless look to it. It's got a bit of weight because it's metal, and it feels very sturdy. The size is perfect for most smaller pictures as well. Getting into the back to place a photo can be a bit tricky due to the bar on the bar, but it can be worked out easily.

Unfortunately, this picture frame deserves only 1 star. The overall quality is very poor. Mine arrived slightly dirty, and the glass doesn't fit all the way to the edges, giving it a cheap, unfinished look. The matted insert has the same problem. It doesn't extend to the edges so it is hard to keep in place, which makes the whole frame appear sloppy. The back stand is wobbly and awkwardly positioned, making it difficult to remove the insert to place a photo. The metal tabs that are supposed to hold everything in place are stiff, hard to move, and feel like they might snap off with repeated use. The only reason I gave it 1 star instead of zero is because it technically does the bare minimum of holding a picture.

I love the design on this picture frame. Assembly was self explanatory. It looks durable, however it wasn't packaged properly before it was shipped, because it arrived broken, the glass was broken. It was shipped in an envelope. I'm sure its can replace the glass, just disappointing. It a versatile frame, it can be hung on the wall as well. It is different from all the other picture frames I have, it gives it an authentic look. It makes me want more. It has a nice matt to compliment the frame.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this frame! I think it is a great value for about $10.00! I received the black rounded corner tabletop photo frame but this also comes in gold if you want a different color. I personally love the black color and the weight of the frame is substantial since it is metal. It is a sturdy frame! It has a really pretty black minimalistic frame and my photos with and without the mat look nice! The back is black velvet material and you can either hang this on the wall or use it on a tabletop. I like it had both options. A couple of things I noticed was because of how the picture stand is attached, it can be a little tricky to take off the back and slide a photo in. Your picture will also have to be trimmed to fit the frame. I would purchase one again because I think it is a sturdy and nice quality frame, and the price is right.

I received this product free in order share my honest review. This mainstays 5x7 matted to 4x6 picture frame is perfect for any and all bookish goodies. I receive a ton of book box art and can easily add it to this picture frame and change it out as I want. It's super easy to place and handle, the material is a sturdy metal, and perfect for a wide variety of photos or art.

Perfect simple picture frame that can be used anywhere in the house! Super easy to use and I love the sleek design. It feels sturdy but the price point isn't bad at all. I was sent this by Influenster to try out and give my honest opinion of and I can say that I'll be getting more of them for around the house! It's fits a lot of aesthetics because the design is so simple.

The frame is minimal and aesthetic. It matches my vibe completely. I love that the color is a dull gold and does not have a yellow tinge to it so it does mimic a brass look. The weight is substantial so it does feel good quality and i know it won't get knocked down easy. I have bought a couple more of these frames myself replaced a few of my existing frames to create a gallery aesthetic. The smaller size of the frame lends itself well to have multiple without it looking too much

This versatile frame arrived nicely packaged and ready to use as a 5x7 or 4x6 and can be displayed vertically or horizontally with an option to place or hang. The material is classy with a solid weight for displaying in an elegant stand alone piece or complementary in multi display. The matte for a 4x6 photo and frame provides clarity and a “pop” to the selected photo. Just lovely!

This gold frame is a simple, stylish way to display photos, with a clean, modern look, that works on just about any surface. I like the versatility of using it with, or without the mat, and the rounded corners give it a softer, more polished feel. The back is a little hard to get off and the mat is slightly smaller than the frame but overall it's a great affordable option for every day, decor or gifting.
