We hardly ever use these as actual clothespins. Most of ours have been pressed into service as chip clips and for closing bags of crackers, cereal, and other foods that need some protection from bugs and humidity. For something like a box of crackers, we just fold over the inner plastic bag, clamp it with a clothespin, and put the whole thing back in the box. They work surprisingly well for this. We've tried various purpose-made plastic bag clips over the years, but many are basically novelty products, and eventually the plastic or spring breaks. These wooden clothespins are simple, inexpensive, and easy to replace, and they grip well enough for everyday use. They aren't anything I'd call premium, but they don't need to be. Four stars for a basic product that works well and has turned out to be much more useful around the house than its intended purpose suggests
In a world where pantry bags threaten to spill their contents at the slightest opportunity, these clothespins stand ready. Chips. Crackers. Cereal. They hold them all together with quiet determination. Sturdy, dependable, and available in a 50-count package because apparently the battle never ends. The line must hold.
These clothespins work great for my daughter and her softball team to make clips for their tournaments. Definitely recommend for that and to use as chip clips.
I looked at Chip Clips...$$$. I got these and they work better! I guess you could paint them if you want them fancy. But, they make great, inexpensive clips!
I hung clothes on clothesline growing up these clothes Pin`s sure come in handy especially when not raining or snowing. Clothes stay online well even when very windy They are good %26 sturdy when hanging Tent`s %26 so on. Clothes hanging in line being held up by Clothes Pin`s sure smell good from being outside.
These clothes pins do what they are supposed to do, and do it well. I use a clothesline to dry clothes—I know, very old school—and these will work for a long time.
These clothespins are a delightful find for any crafting enthusiast. Their natural wood composition offers a charming aesthetic to any project. The moisture-resistant quality ensures their durability, even when used with paints or adhesives. Their simple yet effective design makes them incredibly versatile for various crafting applications. They are a truly useful addition to any crafter's toolkit, providing both function and a touch of rustic appeal. For regular use of a clothespin, I expect you'll be incredibly pleased with the ease of use, size, and their consistent and steady grip. They reliably hold shut, even snap shut with a little satisfying pop!
I used the online ordering and was very happy with the service. The delivery time was actually faster than Amazon.
REALLY??? EVEN THE CLOTHESPINS ARE NOW HIT BY SHRINKFLATION!!! IT'S RIDICULOUS THAT THE HANDLE PART OF THESE CLOTHESPINS ARE SHORTER THAN THEY USED TO BE!!! WHY??? I SIMPLY USE THESE TO KEEP OPEN BAGS OF CHIPS, BREAD, CEREAL, ETC. CLOSED, BECAUSE I SURE WOULDN'T EVER TRUST THEM TO BE STRONG ENOUGH TO ACTUALLY HOLD/SECURE WET CLOTHES UP ON A CLOTHES LINE!!! AND NO, I DIDN'T ACCIDENTALLY ORDER THE MINIATURE CLOTHESPINS FOR CRAFTS...THESE ARE SUPPOSEDLY "FULL SIZE" CLOTHESPINS!!!
The worst I've ever seen ! they fall apart literally as I am using them for the first time, right out of the package! maybe you could use for craft projects. I am not sure they would hold up to anything. The one's that didn't break right away did break once used, and my clothes fell off the line. I understand that they are cheap but this is ridiculous! not usable!
