These lights are so beautiful in the garden and work so well. I've had several since last summer that are still going strong. They've been left outside through all kinds of weather and I haven't had any problems with them not working. I just bought a few more to have on hand in case these ones do eventually go out. I can't imagine my garden without them now.
We bought one at the end of the season and it has been outside now for over a year-through snow, ice, rain etc….it has not stopped working, radiates good light and has not had any corrosion-seal is well done. My husband loves them. I've since bought 8 more for around the yard…so far no problems…price is reasonable.
Darling outdoor light that I use on my patio! Twinkle every night as long as it gets sun in daytime to recharge solar. So fun that it has twinkle lights.
I love these. I can't believe they're only $6.00. They've been in storms, extreme heat, etc… They're very bright and very beautiful in my yard. I used mini shepherd hooks for them to hang off of.
will light up after being in the sun for quite awhile, but doesn't last long and has to be pretty dark to trigger the “on” mode. runs out of juice fast if left on even when lights are not lit. may work better for camping and not in the house with so many lights on already.
These lantern lights are beautiful! But unfortunately, not made well and so they are not long-lasting. I have owned two, and each one has gone bad within the same year. The crackle glass is thick and sturdy, so that's a good thing, but the solar contraption in the lid weathers quickly and stops working as well after a while (I think they do not use a good enough protective coating on the top), and the insides go bad quickly. Any moisture that can inadvertently make its way inside causes damage. That leakage could be even through the top solar panel. And the wiring inside tends to go bad after a short amount of use also. You may or may not need to quicky replace the battery inside if the one it came with isn't very good. I wish they would make them better! They give a lot of enjoyment during the time that they do work.
The first night this worked Great, bright and on for a long time. Second night didn't even light although in sun all day. Next night it lit but not for too long. I do not want to mess with the battery. I shouldn't have to, as suggested in instructions. So I am VERY disappointed and may email Walmart for a replacement.
I ordered 4 of these 2 at time . 3 of them worked for a week and then quit. 1 is still working. what sort of quality do you call that?? I got 2 from Amazon last yr and they still work
I purchased this item a few weeks ago put it out the day I got it to charge. It glowed the first night and then didn't glow for two nights and then glowed for two nights and hasn't glowed since I've had it for probably about 2 1/half weeks and it glowed a total of probably three or four nights.
I leave the globe panel up hanging on my porch all day in the southern spring sun, not in the shade. But it stays lit up all of 5 mins once it's fully dark. And not even bright. It's garbage and kind of costly. Its a great quality globe but useless because of the solar panel crap that does nothing.
