I have been using it mainly to hold my jewelry in the bathroom whether I take it off before a shower or at the end of the day, or while getting ready for the day. So, it's a convenient tray to have for this purpose to keep track of especially small pieces. My daughter loves the heart shaped and sometimes she uses it as a cute plate to put her chocolates to go with a cup of tea. So, it has traveled from my vanity to my kitchen a few times. I guess I need to get another one. It seems to be sturdy. It is ceramic instead of plastic which I really like. Plastic can look cheap. It is easy to clean as well. Other uses for it that come to mind are as a tray to hold used make sponges puffs to keep the area clean, it can hold car keys or smallest of office supplies such as memory card, so it won't get misplaced while working on something else, etc Really a handy little tray to have around.
