Mainstays 6 Drawer Closet Organizer, Black

I needed someplace to store my clothes during a temporary stay in a room with no closet. This unit was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I've crammed the rod with hanging clothes and the drawers with folded items. The fact that the fabric of the drawers is stretched onto the support rods and that the drawers have reinforced bottoms means that the drawers don't sag and are easy to pull out and push in. It has worked beautifully for my needs and I would definitely recommend this product

We actually purchased two of these closet systems. One for each of our Sons. We use them free standing as there is no formal closet space. The assembly was around 15 minutes on each one. These are large and sturdier than expected. Our ten year old Sons really like using it.

I got mine today and it took about 1 hour close to 2. It was a little tricky but you eventually realize its just simple science(mentally) as far as connecting the parts but it is tricky but not at all difficult especially since it only requires 2 screw's. It is not made to hold heavy items like coats but dress shirts it can easily hold a lot of them without tilting over and the drawer assembly was a snap, and if handled gently it should do the job for quite some time. Its a keeper.

This closet organizer is sturdy, attractive, well built, easy to put together, and best of all the size fits beautifully into my small guest house. The purchase was easy, the price was unbelievably low in comparisons checks, shipped quickly and arrived in good shape and on time. Much better closet than I could have ever expected!

I'm glad I bought this unit. I have a walk-in closet that could barely be called such and this fits in it perfectly. Now I have double hanging space and drawers. It is only four stars because the little fabric drawers can't hold anything of weight without a slight sag, but to be fair they are just fabric and cardboard

I have a relative small space that I have ignored to organize for quite a while, and finally I can't deal with the mess, so I decided to get an organizer that doesn't take much space. With extensive search, I set my eyes on this one because it fits my standards, looked nice in picture, and the price is very reasonable. It is pretty easy to set up, parts are well labeled, instructions are clear. The only thing is the metal part is pretty weak, I realized pretty fast when one of the screws went in the hole and stuck in the tube while I was tightening it up, and I didn't even use much force. The whole thing is a bit shaky, so don't expect it can hold up much weight. Since I'm only using it for my light clothes, it's not a big problem for me. The drawers don't look as nice as in the pictures. Conclusion: fair product for the price, does its job.

The upper portion for hanging, and the metal rods for vertical support are sturdy. However, the bottom portion for "drawers" are not really that usable because it's made of soft cardboard, beyond about 2 lbs they start to sag. So no, don't recommend. They should redesign the bottom part.

I was so excited to finally find a drawer/hanging bar combo. This piece was fairly easy to construct by myself, the base is a little uneven but that's probably due to my own error - not a big deal. The drawers can be a little tricky to slide in/out because the casing is made of fabric without a lot of support underneath. The hanging bar can support about 13 lbs. I think this would be great for a shared space, like a dorm or an apartment with limited closet space. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase but if you're looking for something sturdier or a more permanent storage solution...maybe consider something else.

The product is made flimsy and way too many parts to build. Looks great when built! but the draws are not made for no more than 2 items per draw. In my opinion its a temporary fix, but never a permanent place for clothing.

Had to guess on how to put it together. Then had to take it apart and bring it back to the store since it was missing pieces.
