Mainstays 7" King High Profile Easy Assembly Smart Metal Box Spring

Whoever came up with this idea for the easy assembly boxspring is a genius. Box springs are one of the hardest things to move since they do not bend in are difficult to get up a stairwell. And this being made of metal is more sturdy than a wooden framed one this will be very easy to disassemble and fold up when I move and transport to the next home. I wish I thought of this myself. Pure genius!

Very easy to assemble and sturdy . Bought for my king size bed and still in great shape after 5 months!!! Great price!!!

This box spring was easy to put together and it took less than 20 minutes. It is very sturdy and looks great.

It's cool but a little confusing because of the top (no information or description on that bottom mattress), whenever I put the mattress in it collapsed I was like what's wrong with it ? So I had to flip it over and try it again..and now it holds up good.

This box spring was very easy to assemble. Just had to unfold it and put the cover on. Despite what others have written, we had no problem getting the cover on. We started at one end, pulled it up the sides and put the last end on while zipping it up. No problems and it fit fine. It's a nice firm base for our somewhat inexpensive mattress.

It's really not worth the money. The bed frame wobbles and doesn't feel sturdy. The support pieces/poles on the inside that are used to put the frame together keep coming out of place. I'm disappointed with the quality and wouldn't recommend it.

Wow! I'm so glad I waited to leave a review! Set up was so easy and a breeze but as we have had this set up for a week the metal has already bent! We used the king and we are definitely below the weight capacity so I am so confused as to how that happened? I have purchased so many things from Walmart.com and this is the only thing that didn't work for us. I am so mad because I waited forever to find an affordable option for a box spring and this failed miserably. I wish I could return but I already threw out box and everything so now I have to wait in the lopsided bed to find something else. Oh and another thing the zipper also is defective!

The bars kept sliding off and isn't stable after a few uses. I'm going to replace after a year or use .

we ordered this box springs October 17, 2025 and it didn't even last a year before it started breaking. Normal wear and every time you get on the bed you hear the bars falling where it broke. i will nev

The product did come in a timely matter, But I tried to cancel it right when I ordered it because I picked a California king instead of a regular king. I immediately sent a message to customer service which they told me that the company did not reply because they had nobody to respond so they shipped it the next day even though I canceled it right away. It is a huge item which could have just been canceled and never shipped but the way their system is for that company they automatically take your money and then ship it so they don't have to talk to you. Make sure you put a credit card instead of a debit card if you do use this company. Easier to get your money back. Side note: they still delivered the item even though I put a note like FedEx said for them to refuse the delivery which is shown in the picture.
