Mainstays 7-Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set

I thought this product was a great value. Shopping on Walmart.com was sooo easy! The delivery of the product came 4 days before expected. Very pleased!

I've been looking to replace my nonstick cookware with stainless steel. Based on the other reviews and the price, I decided to give this set a try. I'm very glad I did! The food doesn't stick the pan, but it does leave those nice brown bits needed for sauces. And cleaning them is not a chore either; I just use a little Bar Keeper's Friend on the wet pots, and they are as shiny as the day I bought them. Good product!

These pots are great. What made me buy them was because I have a set like these already, and I bought them after hurricane Katrina and they are still going strong. I just needed more pots. Both times I purchased them from Walmart, only this time I'm a online customer. Thanks Walmart.

Both my mother and I have used this set for about a month now and we love it!! You get everything in one set: different sizes of pots, as well as a frying pan, without having 16+ pieces to deal with like other sets. Cooks food really good and is a breeze to clean. The inner lining on some nonstick cookware will start to chip after awhile, and sometimes the chips will end up in the food (which has happened to us). I especially like this cookware because the stainless steel ensures that we don't have to worry about any chipping on the inside of the cookware. Also, for this set to be stainless steel, the price was awesome and very affordable. Perfect for someone living alone or a small family.

We saw this set online. Read all the good reviews on it then had it mailed to our son in another state. The delivery was super fast, within 3 days. My son & his roommate love them. Exactly as described. Durable, easy to clean and a good looking set. They have had them for 3 weeks. I was worried they might prefer the non stick but they said they were happy with this very easy clean set. Overall experience was great product at great price and easy to order, Thanks!

Was in the market of getting some new cookware, and came across this set. Read teh other review, and decided for the price, wouldn't hurt to try it out. Recieved them in a timely manner, they look great, and since there is only 2 of us in the household, the small size makes making meals alot easier. They dont stick, and heat quickly. They are definatly a "steel" for the price, since they are stainless steel, meaning i was able to throw out the old teflon, JOY :D The only draw back, is they are small so a large family wouldn't find them as useful, but for me they are perfect.

This is the real stainless steel. I bought one for myself when I got a job in Fort Wayne Indiana, I bought another set for my daughter in college, I and my wife bought another set for our home overseas, and I just bought another set for my 2nd. daughter that works and goes to school in VA. I't''s very durable and doesn't stain at all. The only little drawback is that some times the handle screw has to be thightened, but that's because I'm rough with it. For the price, that's the best set of cookware we have had in the family. It's very good for a wedding present too. I highly recommend it.

The cookware is great for the price. I am used to cooking in non-stick pots and pans so this was my first experience with stainless steel. Of course, I found it different from non-stick in that I have to use a little bit more oil to avoid sticking and also, stir more than I would in my non-stick cookware. However, the cook on my food is really good. Washing the big pot after the first cook left some rainbow colored circles on the base, which I am not sure are an issue. I did not see those circles in the other utensils in the cookware. Overall, I am very happy with the product.

I was a little disappointed at how small the pans were. I thought I was buying a set that could feed a family of 5 without having to use more then one pan, I was wrong. They look nice, and so far the handles seem to be holding up but they scratch easy. As of now, nothing has stuck to them so that was a plus when doing dishes. The size is the major downer, just thought they'd be bigger.

Right from the start let me say I might recommend these to a person who has coil burners or one who was cooking with a gas flame. Maybe this type of stainless steel pot isn't for use with the smooth top ranges and cooktops. If that is the case then it makes sense every other type of pot I have, whether it's a copper bottom stainless steel or anodized aluminum type will boil water within several minutes, but these will not. The water comes to a low boil, but never a rolling boll like the others. For my uses these pots and pans don't work well, but they look great! They are well made and the fit and finish is wonderful... they just don't transfer heat on a smooth top well..
