The product fits our king size bed perfectly. It wasn't too big or it didn't overhang too much. It was elegant for our room and fit well without being too much on a gender-specific side. I like that it came with smaller pillows to add to the decor and wasn't just a comforter. Now with that being said, I can say that this set is definitely not for everyday use. It would be more used for a spare bedroom, something set up for a few nights stay or something in that area. They are beautiful and its a great set, soft, warm, and comfortable. While you will want to keep a spare smaller blanket under the comforter for use. It is more decorative use than function. The pillows are strictly decorative and not intended for nightly use, to lay on. I am pleased to have the item and I love the feel and overall look of the set. It will give any room placed in a luxurious feel and look while also complimenting the comfortable feel. I would highly recommend washing in a very gently cycle as well because it seems to be fragile would easily tear in a wash or dry.

This comforter is more beautiful in person then the pics online. The fabric is lightweight and silky and feels like good quality. I love that the throw pillows are included and the shams are really pretty. I've had it on my bed for about a week now and it doesn't collect pet hair. It's not too warm for the summer weather and definitely feels like it will be plenty warm in the Winter.

The Mainstays Cougar Burnout Velvet Ogee 7-Piece Comforter Set Black. Is a very beautiful comforter set. I'm proud to have displayed on my bed at home. The comforter set comes complete with a large comforter. Velvety soft black background. With a shinny black design on top of the black background. Very attractive to the eye. I have the king set. The comforter measures out to be 92 inches x 104 inches. Next comes the pillow cases. The design on the pillow cases perfectly match the comforter. The set I have comes with two pillow shams 20 inches x 36 inches. There's also three small pillows that comes with this kit. One 16 inches x 16 inches. That comes with the same print as the comforter and shams. It's very soft and comfy. The second pillow in the kit is 14 inches x 14 inches. That looks like to me to be a totally black animal print design. The last and third mini pillow that comes with this kit is. 16 inches x 12 inches. The pillows design is three different colors being of Black, Grey, And a very sparkly silver. That in my opinion Sets off the entire comforter set. 187 Last of all come the bedskirt That is just a one color black. 78 inches x 80 inches x 14 inches. When this kit is all put together on my bed. It's very beautiful. All in all. I'm very happy with this comforter set. It's also very comfy. I'm going to rate this product with five stars. For being quality made and being very soft to the touch.

This is a beautifully crafted comforter set. The lovely plum colors can definitely be incorporated into fall as well as fall. It's very thick too, so it will easily make a great winter set in your bedroom. Overall a very nice comforter l think yuh ou would really love.

This is one of the best sets I've seen, First let me say I usually don't sleep with sham pillows because they don't feel like pillowcases to me they aren't soft enough well these are very soft, they sleep well and are soft and, the comforter is not to heavy so you don't have to worry about sweating in the summer but it's also not to light it's winter and it works just fine I usually use a quilt under my comforter but it's no need for that with this one, also the texture of the set is really soft it appears black in the picture but it almost has a sparkle to it the design in the comforter set is absolutely gorgeous and the pillows just set it off makes it look way more expensive, I would recommend this set to anyone it looks great and sleeps great I can't speak enough about how soft it is. It's jet black as well which is always a plus because lighter comforters seem to stain quick.

Beautiful and rich color. Also purchased the Mainstay teal microfiber sheet set. This is the third bed set I’ve purchased in this style, didn’t realize until after I looked more closely at the design, but they’ve all been beautiful. With the other sets I stumbled upon matching shower curtains so hopefully I can find a shower curtain and matching teal towel sets as well.

So I really like how it looks the comforter is not as thick as I would of thought and it’s really light, my bed is a queen I bought a king because I like comforters to look over sized but my bed is also pretty tall I bought the king pillows to go with the full set and I like it overall.

If you're looking for a decent and affordable bedding set this is a great option. It comes with everything you need minus the sheets. While not of the highest quality, I found that the bedding is made quite well. I've already had to wash mine a couple of times and so far it is holding up - no loose threads or lumps in the comforter. My one complaint is with the pillowcases. While they are made nice and look nice, for some reason they seem to always rotate around the pillow. I know this can happen with pillowcases in general but seems to do so more with these compared to others I have used. Ultimately, I love the design and the material used. The pillows accent my bed well and the overall set has been great. The material is lightweight so it works well for me living in Southern Louisiana! Definitely a recommendation from me!

I bought this comforter set from my local Walmart. I loved the colors. Upon washing it, I noticed that the comforter came apart and shredded at the seams in 5 different places. I thought maybe that set was defective so I took it back. There were no more at my store so I ordered another exact set online. It arrived fast. I went over the comforter make sure there were no tears or shreds. I washed it on cold and gentle cycle. I took it out and the were 3 separate places it tore and shredded. I was going to sew it but it just shredded more. I was in tears over it. I took it back immediately. I am so angry and disappointed. I have never had this happen to me before. And, I wash my bedding every 2 weeks! Mainstays needs to do better for charging $64 with tax for their bedding. I expected decent quality, not dollar store quality. I would definitely NOT reccommend!!!

I got one of these in store in teal in 2018, and it by far is my favorite comforter. The one I ordered in 2022 is a huge disappointment. The 2018 one is so soft it feels like a cloud and is very warm. The pillows from that set individually make excellent couch nap pillows. The 2022 version while descently comfortable is not soft, is somewhat warm but not as warm as my 4 year old one, and the pillows have so little stuffing in them that you need all three stacked to get any kind of support. I am very dissatisfied with the degredation of quality on what 4 years ago was a fantastic product.
