These lights were exactly what I was looking for. I just ordered two more sets to have on hand. A quick YouTube video check cleared up installation questions. So much easier to install than regular string lights. The perfect solution to add hassle free lighting to existing umbrellas.
I put these Mainstays 72ct Solar Umbrella Lights on my outdoor umbrella and it looks absolutely amazing! It took a little working and reworking to get the lights just right but once I got them on, I let them charge for a whole day before turning them on. The lights have an on/off switch. The next evening, I turned the lights on and opened my umbrella. They looked great! They give the perfect amount of light without it bring too bright. It’s the perfect lighting for my garden.
Waiting on my umbrella to arrive all lights work i just ordered early hours this morninh and got shipped to my door late this afternoon that was fast! Will show in review after it is installed in umbrella once it arrives
The lights are great.brightens up the umbrellas. Makes tbd back yard look amazing.thank you.
Very dim, not bright at all. Adds a subtle ambiance. Confusing assembly but eventually got it right.
The 72 solar umbrella lights are a novel concept. I have a 9 feet patio umbrella and these lights only cover about a third of the umbrella when it is fully expanded. When I saw these lights light up at night, I considered buying two or three more sets to completely surround my umbrella. There is a box about the size of a deck of cards that is the charging box. This box needs to be expose to the sun to receive charge from the sun. Be sure to leave the box visible when closing the umbrella so that the lights will continue to charge. The clip on the charging box is a bit weak so I tried to attach it to a thicker part of the umbrella. There is a button on the back of the box that activates the lights. The wires are a bit thin so be careful when unwrapping them so they are not damaged during the installation process. I love the lights on the umbrella, but I do not think this will be a long lasting product; the material seems not to be very durable.
We spent nearly an hour in the heat tediously installing them. Clipped the solar panel on. We're in the South, currently in full 95F sun. They have charged for over 24 hrs now, and nothing.... So now we have to undo our hard work and return them. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Plus it seems even if they did work (which they don't), they are SO tiny they would not give off much light.
I got nothing in the delivery package at all . So I have nothing to review
instructions could be a little better with placement of the solar head
These umbrella lights came with instructions that were impossible to follow. After about an hour my husband threw them out and tried to put the lights on our umbrella himself. Took quite a while. Then we attached the solar panel. We live in Florida. We have PLENTY of sun to charge that solar panel. It did not charge. I said to my husband maybe there is an off/on switch. He said he didn't see one in the instructions. But he went out and looked and after about 10 minutes he found a tiny on/off switch. Turned it on and we waited for dark. These lights are very dim. Not even worth all the effort we went through to install them. Skip this product and use your money elsewhere.
