Mainstays 7.6 gal Plastic Kitchen Trash Can, Black, 4 Pack

I received four awesome 7.6 gallon plastic trash cans. These are perfectly sized for bedrooms and offices. You can even use them for toy storage. However, I do not use it for my kitchen trash can because not 100% sealed around the top edges where it opens and closes, sometimes the smell from food leaks out. But if you take the trash out daily it's not an issue. Perfect size and the top opens and closes well.

I got a 4 pack of these cans to use in several rooms around the house including my laundry room and took one to work for my office so that I can use it for any paper and plastic items that I dump in the recycling later on. I wanted something that wasn't too big since they won't be used as often as garbage cans that contain food waste, which I avoid using cans with touch lids for. They're pretty sturdy and should last for a long time with my basic usage.

These cans are a great size, good quality and the liner stays in nicely. The lid is easy to use and easy to put on and take off to empty the trash. The can has enough weight to not be easily knocked over when it's empty, but isn't overly heavy. I love that it comes in a 4 pack.

I got the 4 pack Mainstays 7 gallon touch top Trash cans to try I love it Easy to maneuver around and hold bag down when you put it in so when You take out bag its not all ripped and can't close because it's around the top Love that you can tap the top of the lid and open makes it alittle easier That kids won't get in i love them they work great in my home and take up Less space and holds more trash.

Works as I had hoped. A bit of a quality issue with the lids mechanisms on all.

I would say these trash cans with pop up lids are just “ok”. The lid pops open VERY easily and it has a bit of a cheap feel. Not sure how the latch system will last over time. I feel like a bit of wind would pop it open now, and they’re new. The good? I ordered a 4 pack so I can have one in my office, kitchen, finished basement, and bathroom. They all match, which I like. I don’t have to have the lid on all of them (just paper in the office), so i can use some without lids if I need to. I would recommend if you need these for light use, but maybe not as a deterrent for your dog in the kitchen (as one sniff of the lid would give them access to all the trashy goodies…lol). Overall, I like the trash cans and will keep them.

Mainstays 4-Pack 7.6 gal Trashcan - Grey are decent little trash cans to have in bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, offices, garages….basically anywhere it would have purpose. The base of the trash can is sturdy, however, the lid is a little catchy and doesn’t always want to close. They come in multiple colors so they will easily fit in with your decor. The size in convenient and don’t take up as much room as some of the bigger or other shaped trash cans. The material is easy to clean as well.

The best thing about these are the quantity and size. I use 13gal trash bags inside for 3 and the 4th is used for laundry sorting. My issue with these are that the lids are very touch sensitive. Even the slightest tap causes the lid to fly open. All four has this issue

I reviewed the Mainstays 7.6 gal Plastic Touch Top Lid Kitchen Trash Can, 4 Pack, Gray to complete an honest non paid review. If you are looking for a kitchen trash can with a lid do not get this. The trashcan bucket itself is fine but the lid is poorly manufactured. I have difficult closing it, or the lid will not stay closed unless messed with and forced to stay closed. I've even accidentally lightly bumped the trash can and the lid popped open. Very annoying. I've had to find new uses or locations for them where I won't be concerned about an open lid all the time.

I had hope for these little trash cans. They are a nice size and go great with the gray color of my house. I liked the 4 pack option because I needed a new home office trashcan that was bigger than the one I had an I also was looking for two more of the same size to use as holders for my cat food and dog food so I didn’t just have bags laying around the house and wouldn’t have to smell them. The lids are what messed it up for me. I received one totally broken and the other 3 when you closed the lid they wouldn’t close and you have to push down on the backs on the side for them to close. I have two that are halfway functional having to continue to push them closed but my other the spring broke off the lid. The lids seem very cheaply made. So the one I received broken I took the lid off and just use the bin part as my office trashcan under my desk.
