Mainstays 8 in Black Integrated LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light with 3 Adjustable Color Options

I bought 2 of these 8" globe lights to replace a big, ugly, broken ceiling light in the bedroom and a similar ugly ceiling light in the kitchen. The new globe lights hug the ceiling nicely and look great.

Light is simple but the quality looks worth more than the price. A light that will always be in style no matter your taste.

Mainstays products have never done me wrong in making high-value products we all need and use in the home and this LED globe light has the same high quality that I've seen in the past. I really like the 3 different light modes from cool white to a warm amber. It changes up the mood in a room, or provides ample light. I installed this light in my entry closet where I store a bunch of junk, but it would go great in a bathroom, kids rooms, and other places where you need a new flush mount light. It is a very simple and basic design that blends in well. Installation was easy enough of switching off the power, removing the old light, wiring in this new 3-wire light, and bolting it to the ceiling just as the instructions clearly outline and how every other household light is installed. Just 4 total screws and you're done. I prefer the cooler 5K lighting color for this closet for simple visibility, however the 3k and 4k light temperatures were a more orange light and would be great in a living area. I think the only thing I do not like about this light is the color temperature switch is located under the decorative cover and you cannot easily switch between the modes. They should have made a discrete switch location hidden from normal view but still easy enough to change without removing the light from the ceiling. I'm sure I will not be switching it often, however it would have been nice to have. Overall I really like the light this puts out, installation was a breeze and it looks great!

Such a great, simple but elegant, contemporary light. The roundness add that level of softness to any room. The light is bright enough. Great addition to any room without it standing out too much. Seems to be pretty durable, so it should last a while.

This is a pretty neat idea, the globe is the bulb so no need to change light bulbs. I am not sure how long it will last. It is super lightweight and seems pretty durable. 8" is a perfect size for a hallway or smaller room. Black finished base is modern. Feels like plastic but could be metal. Instructions are easy to follow. You can move the switch to cool white, daylight or warm white. If you decide to change the look you will have to take it down or loosen it up as the switch is on the base that mounts to the ceiling, it would be great if it was on the side of the base. Looks okay against the popcorn ceiling, had to press it in a little to make it more flush but that is not the fault of the base. One unit is nice so you don't need a third hand.

Looks great in hallway bathroom looking like a giant pearl my kids think too. As the theme is ocean and is till work In progress why no painting done. If it didn't go there would work perfectly as a sink light or hall light adjusting to three shades of light.

This is a really pretty light fixture! I love the matte finish + the globe will add a nice modern touch to our hallway. We are slowly replacing the light fixtures in our home. I have not had one before that comes with the LED integrated into it. You can choose if you want it to have warm white, cool white, or daylight, which is a pretty neat feature. I love that we won't have to be replacing lightbulbs in the hallway all the time. The instructions are very complete + we hope to get it up this weekend. I'm really excited about how great it will look!

I'm so happy to finally have a light that brightens my basement hallways. Mainstays 8 Flush Mount Light gives off a lot of light even though it's not a giant light. It's simple but yet still has some style to it. Reminds me of the old school types but is much better then then the ones like back then. The light was never bright enough and not energy efficient. We can actually see into our basement closet. The light that was in prior did not threw off enough light, we even took of the covering, it just never seemed to help. So hopefully now my husband will stop tripping on the basement stairs. Thanks Mainstays for brightening my day!

We thot this had a bulb but it's LED. Did not notice that on box until we tried to take globe off. Pretty globe.

This is a nice standard mount light. Love the simplicity of it. It was not difficult to install and very user friendly instructions. The lighting is somewhat soft, which is what I prefer. If you're looking for nice quality but nice and simple, this would be a great choice.
