This mini bowl is perfect for snacking. I use it for cheese crackers or nuts. It has ridged sides and a velvet like finish which makes it easy to hold. I love the pretty teal green color. It is dishwasher safe, but you cannot put it in the microwave. It looks like it holds approximately 1 cup.

I really love that this made with 55% bamboo, making it a sustainable. To me this is the perfect size for one scoop of ice cream (makes it easier for me to diet) and also for candy and gum for the kids to grab when they visit. I really love these little bowls!

The thing I like most about the Mainstays 8 ounce mini bowl is that it will not shatter when dropped unlike other materials and it is super light weight. I personally like the green color and how it matches my dishes. The bowl can be used for just about anything--out door gatherings, table decoration, baking, etc.... as it is quite durable and measures a little over 2 1/4" high x 3 1/4" wide.

I wanted to start out by saying when I saw this bowl for the first time I was not sure what to think. It was small and looked like a very large cupcake liner. I was wondering what I could use this for and found the perfect thing to use it for!! It is the perfect size for food prep for omelets or individual food prep. I also have used this for my grandson and he loves the bowl. Perfect for his size. He is 4 years old and loves to carry his snacks around the house and he sits with this bowl perfectly on his lap and eats out of it ever so carefully. He has dropped it a few times and it held up perfectly. Not one scratch or crack on it. They are super sturdy. I would recommend this to anyone who has small children and of course adults who like to have a small bowl to work with.

Well, it is a mini bowl (or even a micro bowl) and it has multiple uses. First of all, it is made with a mix of bamboo and plastic so it does not look out feel like a regular bamboo bowl, it is pretty hard to the touch. However, because it has bamboo in the composition in cannot be used in the microwave, which it is a real drawback. Having into account these limitations, I use it mainly for nuts, sauces and sweets. You can even use it to put the keys or paperclips. You always find new uses for it.

It's a nice little bowl and I like the feel of it. You can't use it in the microwave so be aware of that! It comes in some pretty colors too. It would make pretty, colorful desert bows when you have guest! I can't comment on the durability as I haven't had it very long or used it yet. It seems like it's would be hard to break and that's a plus.

This little bowl is lackluster to say the least. I am always looking for more sauce bowls because I love to eat salsa, but this bowl is a little disappointing for several reasons. The first reason is that when I ran it through the dishwasher, it came out with soap dried onto it. The bowl was not stained from the soap, but the soap cumulated on the rigid edge of the top of the bowl. I have only run it through the dishwasher once, but this seems like the kind of thing that will happen every time I put it in the dishwasher. The second reason is that this bowl is not microwave safe. It is 2022. Everything should be microwavable safe or at least microwave “reheat only” safe. If I ever need to soften butter for a recipe, I like to do it in a little bowl like this. My last reason is that this bowl is bigger than I would have preferred. I guess bigger than necessary is always better than smaller than necessary, but if you are planning on using this bowl for sauces, then I think it is too big for your purposes. This is more like a little snack bowl for some berries or carrots maybe. I might be too harsh on this bowl, but it's only because I think there are better options out there with more bang for your buck.

I got the Mainstays bamboo melamine mini bowl in blue with a matte finish. It holds 8 ounces and has a fun texture around the outside which almost makes it look like a cupcake holder. It is 3.9 inches in diameter and 2 inches in height and is the perfect size for when I want to have some salsa or guacamole with my chips or some sour cream with my quesadilla. I really appreciate that it is dishwasher safe (top rack only) and is eco friendly too. It is also very durable. I only got one to try out before buying a set. Although it has great features and is a good small size I don't think I'll be buying more. I'm not a huge fan of the feeling of the bowl material itself and the color is a bit dull and doesn't match super well with my other dish ware. If anything this would be a perfect bowl to add to my camping tote and I may consider buying more for that purpose specifically. That said this product may work really well for some people but I'm not a huge fan. If I do decide to buy more one cool feature is that it is easily stackable with the other bowls which I love. I'd recommend looking at these in store or only buying one before buying a whole set to determine if this is the right bowl for you.

The bowl is sturdy and a good size for nuts/snacks or salsa. The bottom of the bowl says it is not microwave safe, but is dishwasher safe. However, one cycle, on the top rack, resulted in scratches to the fluted areas at the top of the bowl. I would not recommend this product unless you're handwashing your items.
